not true. everything that happened at the end is known because one of the passengers was on the phone with his wife. they were successfully breaking into the locked cockpit by battering it with the food cart. she heard terrorists yelling PUT THE NOSE DOWN PUT THE NOSE DOWN and another yelling back WHEN THEY BREAK IN I WILL. she heard a commotion and then an english voice saying calmly “pull the throttle up”. right before hearing a massive crash. not joking it gets discussed all the time.
