Maybe in your country bro. Here corporations get together and figure out ways to keep us expendable and our wages low.

Why is code the one that gets the most attention? What white collar industry isn't going to get destroyed by AI as well?
>>
The real answer is be competent enough and then focus on the social meta-game

This world is doomed. I don’t know what career I can pursue now. I’m demoralized. I guess I can offer my services as a serf.
>>
It was always a stupid idea desu. What does
>learn to code
Even mean? If you don't have an idea or a company that wants to hire you already, then I don't see the advantage of learning any random skill.
You should, at minimum, develop some conscious idea of making money in a reasonable way (yes even in current retarded conditions.) Then you can figure out what skills, possibly certifications are required. If you just want to be someone's wage-slave then obviously you are a replaceable commodity.
>>
Is that true or is anon bad at coding
>>
There are no jobs left. All I want is to have a great career but there are no positions for that and nobody will give me the relevant experience for it
>>
If you like to program you can get a job doing it. That's the secret: you have to actually like it.
>>
>>542318988
like 10yrs. When a chinese robot comes, fixes your drain, washing mashine and the wobbly drawers in 1h for 120€, traded are dead.

This chiggers attitude is his problem. It isn’t that serious dude and companies aren’t hiring for skills now they’re hiring based on if they want you around. Are you outgoing, have interesting shit to say? No one is hiring for skills in this industry Claude has the skills and you seem like a sweaty neurotic negative Nancy

Just look at the state of /g/
>vibe-coding general
>local model general
>local diffusion general
>buy new iphone general
>sad pc building general

It's like a microcosm of tech industry: replaced by bots, brain-damaged gen-z's and the wrong kind of asians, and still a ghost town.
Nobody with a brain sees a future on this, and anyone who tells you the opposite has a finger in the AI pie and wants more suckers for this latest ponzi scheme disguised.
>>
>>542318926
We’ve come full circle to hire a jeet to vibecode for you and a separate jeet to vibeQA

>>542318926
>phd
>computer science
Worthless.
A guy with 3 years of actual coding experience with an actual software project and software languages will land the job, vs. a phd chink stuck in college.

Don't believe the lies.
>>
>>542322182
THIS.
Any actual software engineer with 2-3 years of actual real experience working on an actual software project,
will beat vibe-coding chink and jeet gen-Zs.

>t. 25 years of software engineering and hiring people.

They do these forms of "subtitles" now because zoomers are goldfish-brained elementary-school-dropouts who lack an attention span capable of processing any more than one word at a time. They need constant bombardment rapid-fire sensory shock or else you lose them. If you put a sentence in front of them, or even a partial sentence, they exhibit fluoride-stare and become confused and enraged.

He should probably just become an Asian OF femboy.
>>
>>542319256
Probably because the select few that got lucky with it made a fortune, or they can be digital nomads and go wreak havoc on Bali raking in six figure salaries.
Comp sci sounds awesome until you look at the statistics.
>>
>>542319256
Pretty much all relational business, even stuff like sales etc. is not going to be disrupted at the medium to high end.
>>542323280
This is a good example.
But also anything that akshually requires you to understand a model's results (of even middling complexity) will essentially require someone qualified enough to construct said model/simulation in the first place. But this is more Mathematics than comp sci. Akshual sciences in general and 'hard' comp sci will also be unaffected (at middle to high end again.)
>>
>>542322443
Yeah, pretty much. I've seen somebody with a master's in computer science that couldn't hook up a fucking monitor.

What about 45 IQ inbred Indian Hindu rape rats whose only qualification is that they gang raped 6 year olds together with the Hindu hiring manager?

All this learn to code, yet paradoxically ALL software is worse then 20y ago. Maybe hermetics were right and knowledge in the hands of retards is harm to society.

Claude can shit out a code in 1min that would take someone 2h
>>
What do you think impoverished people do when something breaks? Do you think they hire a tradesman? They've got no money for that. They try to fix it themselves with the help of their cousin.
>>
>>542323882
Accountant is probably a good bet desu, although big 4 jobs are fairly unpleasant from what I here.
Making your own firm will require the same sort of thing as any new biz however.

t. engineer
>>
>>542324123
you can't become a NEET in the state of Texas if you have work history
>>
>>542324224
Skill issue, probably due to low IQ and inability to understand problems and develop solutions.
>>
>>542319256
there are more software-related program graduates than all the engineering majors that are not code combined (not software, not computer engineering), and there was a shitton of resources for their work, and running statistics on plaintext is easy.

that's bs
a laic still won't make anything sensible with AI. You need about as much knowledge as you did in the past, to review stuff that AI puts out.

bs
not saying it will never happen, but in the foreseeable future robots won't replace humans in trades. They can do repeatable stuff and that's about it. Trades arent' repeatable.

lol, whenever I want some coding I axe Claude and I have what I need in about 15 minutes and I know almost zero about coding. I can only imagine what a real coder can do with it. It must make a massive difference to productivity.

I would like to hire a Germ when I clog the shitter with a gigantic turd. As a revenge for history I would stand behind him and watch how he uses his hand to smash the turd. They pay with EU bucks that I did not work for. Thats a dream.

Of course they would fail, because only a retard would fall for it in the first place lmao

Learn to code was from 2010.
If you had learned to code you'd have seniority or be in management now. Learn to code was good advice in 2010-2012.

This year my company hasnt hired a single "meat coder" but we've taken on about 50 AI agents.
>>
Coding is no longer unique or in demand, but they still want huge paycheck and a fun working environment. We are kicking out h1b workers, not too boost pay or jobs, but to get ready for AI. Welcome to lower middle class and students loans.
>>
>>542327249
holy shit I can't wait to get a watch and cuss a lot and talk to people about going outside so I can feel like I won at life

What is this chink complaining about.

Do something valuable if you want money. You have a coding skill, that's great so code something

>>542319256
Because code niggers use to brag and put down people in other professions. So fuck those niggers. Learn to mop
>>
>>542318926

this is just how every aspect of society right now, no one has any fucking clue what's happening and the intellectual/academic class is pulling apart in every direction in panic

> economies will collapse due to falling birth rates because of labor shortages while labor becomes obsolete due to automation in the hands of super intelligent AI which is going to kill us all but that's won't prevent global warming which is going to destroy the earth in about 10 years but we have plans to go net zero by 2050 by reducing emissions which we plan to achieve despite importing millions of polluting jeets who are necessary to keep the economy afloat which is collapsing due to Iran war and high debt we need to increase even further to arm against Russia which is collapsing and has lost the war in Ukraine

the only smart people today are those banking on general retardation and fear-mongering across social media
>>
>>542328178
yes it does. you can see the experiment about that on youtube. Why are you so confident in spewing ignorance, lmao

>This year my company hasnt hired a single "meat coder" but we've taken on about 50 AI agents.

I graduated in 2018 and was told CompSci was a good degree path. I said "no", didn't go to college, and dodged the $40,000+ in student loan debt. Now I make $25 an hour doing nothing WFH. But my industry will definitely be A.I. automated within the next 10 to 20 years long before I retire. I think the only solution for many white-collar workers, at least to maintain their current standard of living and lifestyle, is to join the flight to real value and start a business. There will be a great bifurcation in which some migrate up the value hierarchy and become entrepreneurs and managers in their own companies and the others are demoted to blue collar workers perhaps earning the same amount of wage-value due to cost savings of A.I. but with significantly worse and more servile working conditions.

Code is and was a high paying job so watching it get decimated by ai is difficult. As an AI engineer at a semiconductor company all things I design put industries out of business. But my intent is to create more jobs in my company and also to improve Japan's drone and defense posture.

At an AI conference right now.
