Yes. I briefly believed it was muslims who attacked us, before I eventually found out it was our own government. Then, when people began to realize that, the fascists began telling people "it was the jews!" in order to put the blame on to someone else, once more. This is most of what fascism is: Wealthy people committing crimes to further their own financial interests, then diverting the blame on to various different identity groups in order to protect themselves.
