Big sad if true. Spent a lot of time at NSA Bahrain. Not sure how it is now but back in the day the Brits co-owned it, their sailors would always be doing outrageous shit like climbing the base fences drunk we'd get a kick out of watching the security footage lol. One time I was on a carrier and we pulled in and had a huge party, I witnessed the base USN Master Chief personally yank a Brit sailor down from a table he was dancing on after he told him to get down and the Brit told him "i'm not in your fucking Navy" lmao. Also shout out to the food court that had taco bell. We'd fly into Bahrain and pick up food there and bring it back to the boat.
