>Stacey Humphreys, 53, is set to be put to death next week for the murders of two real estate agents in an Atlanta suburb more than two decades ago.

>He requested a last meal of barbecue beef brisket, pork ribs, a bacon double cheeseburger, French fries, buffalo wings and a meat lovers pan pizza, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

>For dessert, he asked for two flavors of ice cream, butter pecan and peach, and two caffeine-free sodas to wash it all down.

>Humphreys is set to receive a lethal injection at the state prison near Jackson at 7pm on September 16, according to the Department of Corrections, however he recently filed a motion for a new sentencing trial, which remains pending.

There should be a limit to this sort of thing.

do you get to pick where it comes from? or is it prison brisket
>>
>>542385433
Why who cares
>>

If you live in a normal state this is not allowed. This is a Goergia issue; not a systemic issue

Cali - When they were based they capped final meals to $50
Indiana - Final meal cap is $40
Oklahoma - Final meal cap is $25
Connecticut, Maryland, and Oregon - You're only allowed prison slop as your final meal

>>542385485
Depends on the state. See above.
>>
Death penalty should be abolished
>>
>>542385566
I agree. The current implementation has done nothing to curb the "pavement ape" problem.

>Oregon - You're only allowed prison slop as your final meal
brutal!
The last execution in Oregon took place on May 16, 1997

>>542385433
How often do they kill people? Who the fuck cares?
>>
>>542385667

>>
>>542385433

>Stacey
>Is a dude

I mean, giving a boy a girl's name is one way to lead him to a life to put him on death row when he grows up.
>>
The only time a last meal actually upset me was that one cunt who asked for just as much shit as this guy and then didn't eat a single bite.
>>
>>542385433
Imagine the smell.
>>
>>542385433
>People who will be put to death can eat as much as they want, whatever they want
Why do Americans value shoving food into themselves so highly
>>
>>542385433
I guess the "real estate agents" were jews..?
>>
>>542385433
>WHY DO WE ALLOW THIS
>There should be a limit to this sort of thing.

The actual philosophical answer to this is the final meal changes the death penalty from "petty revenge" to "justice". That sounds like fortune cookie nonsense, but that was the real justification.
The last meal is "good" though. It's tradition, it's culture, it's humanity. I'm tired of you faggots endlessly winging, pissing, and moaning, about efficiency and fucking cost. The state is allowed to kill a guy and you're over here, "he ate too many hamburger, how will the state EVER financially recover from this???? :'c " It was infinitely more expensive keeping him in jail in the first place.
