Why is Asian media so uplifting and aspirational while Western media is just relentless demoralization and it feels like is actively attacking the viewer?There isnt a single shred of ANYTHING to inspire the audience in Western media no matter what the genre

I don't find asian media remotely uplifting. But I'm biased because I don't watch it. And also uplifting media is rare even in western media.But of the stuff I'm aware of, it's all about petty squabbles and drama.The only stuff I find uplifting is stuff like Trek TNG.
