Now that I'm an old Greatest Generationer, all I can think is that I have not merged my self interest with society's as a whole, and any obligations people expect the old to have towards the young, outside of parental relationships, are nonsense.There is nothing there. And university really is a joke these days, so I don't care about the whining of young people.
