But the liberal education which the slave class has been deprived of doesn't deal with such things, it deals with pure ideas, eternal ideas. No matter how much of the information landscape is lies, there are certain things that cannot be lied about, such as the Pythagorean theorem. The square of the longest side of a right triangle equals the sum of the squares of the other two shorter sides no matter how much AI slop is circulated. Such ideas are untouchable, incorruptible. Therefore perhaps people's minds will gravitate toward such ideas when they experience the futility of engaging with those contingent ideas which are corruptible. This is also the difference between the exoteric layer of religion and the esoteric layer. The exoteric layer is where religion is interpreted as a collection of contingent ideas, history and other things which need evidence in the form of archaeological findings etc, a posteriori ideas. The esoteric layer of religion on the other hand deals with pure eternal ideas, a priori ideas. Given this, perhaps the slopification of the information landscape is a manifestation of the human mind's ascension or initiation.2/2
