Does anyone on /pol/ actually think America did NOT deserve 9/11??Serious question. Please be kind enough to provide some reasoning behind your views.
>>542430093The innocents definitely did not deserve to die and the ziocons did not merit the golden ticket they got to fuck up the middle east yet again.so yes no one deserved it.
>>542430093No america didn't deserve 9/11. Even the reasons presented by the terrorists were delusional cope. Muh infidels on the holy land. Even in the 12th century that stuff would be mocked by most muzzies.
>>542430451Thanks for sharing, anon.I would counter by asking - were the 2,977 Americans who died that day truly innocent? They paid their taxes which went to support the American war machine and they voted for people who supported American Empire. I see these people as complicit as jews are for Israel's war crimes in Lebanon/Gaza.>golden ticket they got to fuck up the middle east yet again9/11 certainly made things easier and more convenient, but that was always the (((plan))): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century
>>542430647I take it you're a jew and/or zionist, anon?
>>542430779If I buy clothes that happen to be made by kids in a sweatshop, it does not mean that I support forcing kids to work in a sweatshop. It's impossible to take a morally pure stand on all issues when participating in modern society because everything is too complex and no one really understands all the higher order effects of their actions. It's much more productive to yell at the people at the top (demand regulations that forbid making kids to work in a sweatshop in the case of the clothes analogy) than consider all the consequences of what you do as an individual. And yes of course it's all premediated. It's just recycled Clean Break, which is recycled Yinon Plan.

>>542431749>If I buy clothes that happen to be made by kids in a sweatshop, it does not mean that I support forcing kids to work in a sweatshopThat's literally what it means though. Supporting the product of an unethical or immoral industry MEANS supporting that industry. Especially in your examples when you have so many other options if you were truly NOT ok with sweatshop labor.>It's impossible to take a morally pure stand on all issues when participating in modern societyThis is true and I agree, however this does not mean the hands of any individual are magically "clean".>It's much more productive to yell at the people at the topIt's true that no one man can solve all problems, but this just abdicates personal responsibility completely. Not to mention that we now know that voter preference in US has a statistically insignificant impact on whether a particular policy is adopted.https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/perspectives-on-politics/article/testing-theories-of-american-politics-elites-interest-groups-and-average-citizens/62327F513959D0A304D4893B382B992BIn other words - you are a victim because you truly have no choice but to participate in a corrupt and evil system, but by participating you also become an accomplice to said system.
>>542432412Sorry, support is the wrong word. i meant endorse. It is true that I would be supporting it financially in some sense.>personal responsibilityThere is some element of personal responsibility, but it does not make them guilty in the sense that they are deserving of punishment. The same way I am responsible for enabling many exploitative systems in some small way by buying certain products. The idea is to just do what you can because you will never be able to do everything. You could have a moral framework where actually everyone is guilty and needs to be punished, but that would not leave many people alive.
>>542430093The pentagon sure, but not innocent normies. I know this whole conversation is stemming around Hasan’s comment, but I really wish people would start taking him so seriously. He should be on the same level as that idiot Asmongold. He makes the left look bad.
>>542430647> Infidels and holy land? It's a ridiculous thing> Greatest israel and the goyim? That I respectBUCKBROCKEN
>>542430093When you say "deserve" what do you mean? That word has many contexts. With that said, I don't believe that we, as US citizens deserved 9/11. However, I believe our leaders had it coming due to some of them egging such actions into existence to justify their infinite desert sandbox wars.So did we deserve it? No.Did we have it coming? Yes.
>>542432412Your argument literally is that "you complain about society yet you participate in it! I am very smart!" meme, holy shit. It's like game publishers who say, "well you purchased our game and that counts as a vote with your wallet even though you didn't like it and won't buy again!"Sometimes you literally have to participate in, experiment with, or personally invest in something to see where it goes before you're able to make a judgement about if that investment or participation was negative. You strike me as someone who uses a VPN and isn't actually a US citizen. It's a common understanding across our nation that our leaders have no legal obligation to perform the actions they indicated they would at time of vote, and even if they do, it rarely looks exactly as we imagined or as the politician described it to us.Furthermore, when we pay taxes, we don't have any means of choosing exactly where that money is funneled to. I can't choose to divert income tax to let's say purely civic infrastructural projects, and then divert my taxes on goods/services purchased towards educational projects. It all goes into a pool that is then decided where it goes by people up top. Also, once we vote someone in who decides to go against our will, they can do infinitely more damage than can be fixed in the 4+ year timeframe they usually hold an office for. By the time we can legally remove them, the damage is long done. You sincerely need to educate yourself before you begin pointing fingers. No society is perfect and we're constantly trying to improve the outcomes we produce, which means we make mistakes. We then attempt to correct those mistakes. Sometimes this leads to new mistakes, which we then attempt to correct. So please answer me earnestly: what is your *actual* country of origin, because it sure as fuck isn't the US if you can't grasp these basic facts about how our system here works.
>>542433366>It is true that I would be supporting it financially >in some sense. There's no need for cope language. You would be supporting such a system in the very real sense because the money you exchange for their products would allow it to continue existing.>but it does not make them guilty in the sense that they are deserving of punishmentI think I see your point which is that you are against collective punishment and since the people who died were not DIRECTLY responsible for America's crimes in the Middle East their deaths in the 9/11 attacks were wrong. Is my interpretation correct?Out of curiosity, how do you feel about America sending thousands of Japanese-Americans to concentration camps during WW2?>>542433855>innocent normiesThe argument is that their taxes and votes enabled the system of violence and oppression that supports Israel and wrecks the Middle East. Are you also against collective punishment as the Lebanon-flag anon above?Would you feel different about the attacks if 3,000 US soldiers had died in them instead of civilians?>HasanI don't listen to the roach. My arguments are drawn from Osama Bin Laden's "Letter to America": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letter_to_the_American_People
>>542434595>When you say "deserve" what do you mean? That word has many contexts. This feels like a very lefty-coded "I'll pretend not to understand" approach. What are some other contexts that even come to mind from my very simple question?>I believe our leaders had it comingBut none of our leaders had any negative outcomes from this attack. Instead, they used to enrich themselves further by plunging US into decades of war in Afghanistan and Iraq.>So did we deserve it? No.Why not? Plenty of jews living in Israel oppose what the IDF is doing and israeli war crimes done in their names, yet it's trivial to find American flags on /pol/ calling for the destruction of Israel (i.e. collective punishment). Is this just American "dindu" exceptionalism peeking?>>542435275I'm not complaining about American society. My point is that American civilians should not be surprised when they get killed for propping it up.The rest of your post is classic ad hom fallacy>I disagree with what you say therefore you must be a VPN shillLike holy shit, look in a mirror before you speak next time.
