It was open 24 hours and the owner also ran the donut shop attached to it. I had a fucked up retail schedule (lots of closing shifts followed by opening the next day) at work back then and not a lot of places stayed open past 10 to 11 o'clock, so I'd drop in there to pick up a sandwich or two if I was just too worn down to cook dinner, especially on the days where I had to be back in at 8 AM.
