At the time they believed home ownership was a right so they just gave home loans to everyone without even checking there credit. Then 2008 happend and they realized nobody can actually pay for those loans and all of a sudden everyone had to be financial knowledgeable. Times were safer to this was before Obama becoming president and niggers running rampant about there delusions of being opressed, before that people actually didn't pay attention to race. Women were also easier towards averafe guys, this was common during the 90s and it spilt into the 2000s, there was no dating apps so women actually dated now they just hookup and get used up by some dude thats 6'5. Everyone was freindly youd see people from all walks of life becoming freinds this was before mass social media and online bullying happend. All in all the mid 2000s around 2002-2007 were a great period, we will never see it again.

For me the biggest issue really seems to be smart phones and social media by extension- in the past you could basically just be a normal person and live life genuinely without people trying to shame or embarass you by putting pictures or footage of you online. if you wanted to ask a random person out in public there wasn’t really any harm in asking, worst they could say is no. Or if you wanted to read a book on a subway or something, or play a handheld game, no one would record or photograph you because of what you were reading or how you look playing a game minding your own business. If you wanted to wear a certain outfit or DIDNT care about how your outfit looked and you didn’t care about looking homeless or dirty or something, no one could photograph you to put online based on your appearance. applies to just anything really.
