When did you stop trusting internet news?
Around that time, actually. At some point the editorialization trended into just straight up lying and I was like ight I'm out

I stopped trusting mainstream media when i was a kid and they told me there were WMDs in iraq.I feel like that was a moment for most people of the millennial generation when the media lost all trust
Never did.My mother was HEAVILY influenced by the news. She saw a story about a kid getting kidnapped, she'd wail about how I was going to get kidnapped and needed kept inside. She saw a story about a kid choking on candy, and suddenly I was not allowed to ever have candy again. And many other such cases.I knew something was fucky with the news. It was like it mind controlled her.
I only trust my dreams.
>>54244925590% of them are staffed by lazy fucks that get their news stories from the same new agency and don't bother re-writing the titles

>>542449255I will use this thread to go on a different angle, which is the complete pwning of alternative news and various figures. I stopped trusting them when they stated things that I knew personally were untrue (thanks to my own dealings around the world.) I imagine we will see some very strange decisions made (on individual, 'random person' level as well as state level) due to the extreme level of retardation etc. in alternate 'influencer' spheres. I will urge extreme caution in trusting anyone at all, including me, if you have to make any significant decision relating to markets etc. going forward. Other decisions are already impossible for most people to make so that's okay.
>>542449255I used to think the media was just naturally biased but their goal isn't to inform anyone about facts and the current state of the world. It's run by dark-triad elites. Not necessarily every face on screen, but the system itself, the owners, the executives, the gatekeepers, the pundits who rise to the top, rewards the traits of narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy. It rewards people who can lie without flinching, manipulate without guilt, and sell fear, outrage, and division as if they were public services. It's a programming.
>>542450385>I saw coffee in the pot but the bastard was empty.Never cleaned since they brewed the first pot.You remember those people who thought it ruined the taste.
>>542449255Never trusted them, but stopped consuming their slop entirely when the neocon outlets like the WSJ rolled over and submitted to our aspiring woke gay nigger commie feminist overlords without much of a fight. Then they got pissy that the plebs kept bothering them about finance stuff, and didn't appreciate their daily open borders, climate change and stronk women articles.
