If trumps numbers keep tanking, Rubio might sit this one out and let vance be a sacrificial lamb to get the stink of trump off.
I predict socialists will get bodied in November and that will put DSA on the defensive internally.
The primary for Ds will probably come down to AOC vs Harris.
Newsom will run, but I think is mostly a spoiler candidate to draw media attention.
Harris is the deepstate candidate and always has been.
It will be her vs Vance in a symbolic rematch of the Trump/Biden election.
She will win by pretty comfortable margins and Vance will concede without issue.
She will mark her place as the first female president and do an absolutely fucking terrible job, after which she will be thrown out in '32 by Rubio who will serve 2 terms.
Thats how I see things playing out barring some significant upsets like ww3 or aliens or some shit.

Rubio is the strongest candidate by far, but he might chose to sit the cycle out and wait for better political winds.
You are right the dems have fucking nobody, and anyone they do pick will be a disaster.
However, I do think trump fatigue has set in with the general public.
Renaming shit to troll world leaders is funny, but not when gas is going to $5/gallon.
The moderates are going to punish the republican party in '28.

The only question is who beats him on the dem side.
That is less certain since they have no bench, but I think they will actually drag kamala back a third time.
If they do, gavin will probably just get out of the way and it will be her vs AOC.
Kamala beats AOC easily in the primary.
She wins on diversity and experience.
