Is it wrong to admit that democracy might be a failed system and we made a mistake adopting it in the west? It's almost as if every single things that has coincidentally gone wrong in the west came soon after democracy. We probably would be a lot more happy and prosperous as a nation if we were ruled by a strong, proud and native king. How do we go back?

Democracy becomes easier to manipulate the bigger and more diverse the electorate becomes.A republic might work if only white men of property can vote. But even then the factional infighting for power is too strong a motive. See how the labor party in the UK is trying to enfranchise 16 year olds. Those are a bunch of free votes for them. Motives like that are part of how the franchise continuously expanded.
Also while we have mass participation in government, power has never been more centralized. In the 1770s mobs of Americans lynched British government agents and burned down their mansions. That is democracy, "rule by the people." Today we don't even have the right to reject tens of millions of foreigners the government brings here. We have no rights. It is an oligarchy, rule by the bankers and Mossad etc.
