Literally all the defense has to do is say that the case doesn't conclusively point to Tyler Robinson taking the shot. They don't even have to dispute that he may have been involved as a conspirator. The prosecution has to prove that he did take the shot and did not act alone, which is pretty much impossible for them to pull off, so they're probably just going to kill him before then. But what's damning is that the prosecutor actually should have a literal smoking gun. There should have been footage on the roof of him taking the shot. What has been presented is extremely low quality footage, and given some of the new footage at a different angle and with superior quality leaked by a university employee, we know for a fact that the shot should be on camera. Yet in all accounts, in the officially released footage and the unofficially leaked footage, there is 1 minute missing in all of the footage. That should tell you all you need to know.
