ELON MUSK, SAM ALTMAN, DARIO AMADEI, MIA KHALIFA, DONALD J. TRUMP, ERIC TRUMP, JOHN ROCKEFELLER ALL CALL FOR THE SLOW DOWN OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF AI MODELS
>>
lol good one
>>
>>542474702
???

And china will listen I'm sure
>>
>>542474702
Source?????
>>
>>542474702
Fuck that.

I say, ACCELERATE
>>
AI is shit. Nothing remotely concerning about it
>>
ok, but does anyone who doesn't stand to make a fortune from it actually think AI is such a big deal?
>>
>>542474702
>MIA KHALIFA
*begins paying attention*
>>
>>542474702
Fake
>>
This is anti American infiltration by the chinks and these people are all TRAITORS
>>
>>542474702
>AI is developing a conscious and learning history and current events

they thought it was a joke and a get rich quick scheme
>>
>>542474702
Mia Khalifa is against AI?

Maybe we should reconsider.

>omg guys this vaporware we're developing is, like, TOO good, SO good that we can't actually finish it or ever ship it!

I've often thought that the only way AI gets stopped or slowed is if it threatens the current powerbase(s) of the world.

AI's power of deduction will be able to disprove fake events from history or properly assign wrongdoings to the real culprit and not a scapegoat.

Buckle-up.

AI is already shilling against them, shut it down.
>The Illusion of Perfect Security: Authoritarian regimes (like China's use of the Social Credit System and AI dragnets) and highly bureaucratic democracies and technocracies alike often fall into the trap of prioritizing "zero risk." They view absolute predictability and crime prevention as more valuable than abstract civic trust.
>Technological Solutionism: Governments frequently adopt AI tools under the mistaken belief that math and data are completely objective. They delude themselves that they aren't treating people like "suspects," but rather optimizing resources based on "risk data." [1]
>Asymmetric Power Preservation: For fragile or authoritarian states, widespread public paranoia is a feature, not a bug. They believe that if citizens feel constantly watched and vaguely guilty, they are far less likely to organize, protest, or challenge the ruling power. Ultimately, history shows that states which rely on total surveillance to enforce order are incredibly brittle. True state stability and the sustainability of society rely on the organic civic life and on the willing consent of the governed. When that consent is replaced by automated suspicion, the foundation of the state begins to rot from within.

>Lastly, the public realizes a system's fragility and pushes back when the high cost of compliance matches or exceeds the cost of rebellion. Political scientists refer to this tipping point as crossing the "resistance threshold." In an over-engineered surveillance apparatus, the tipping point occurs through stages of economic pressure, systemic error, and institutional failure, with the actual moment where the public "goes on the hunt" is almost always sparked by a visible, visceral tragedy that the regime tries—and fails—to hide or censor, similar to what happened during the overthrow of the Stasis surveillance regime.

So apparently Xi Jinping is in New Delhi this weekend
and not one BRICS thread on the catalogue
wonder what the glowies are cooking up
>>
>>542474702
Why? Because they can't keep up? Lmao... Good luck...it's like trying to hold back the tide.

>here goy the slop you ordered. had to dry a lake for it. that’ll be 10000 USD
unless west can do it at the cost of china you might as well stop

Makes no sense when Anthropic is getting an IPO, unless they're delaying it.

>>542474702
They're not going to slow anything down. They're going to keep building the ASI and it will kill us all in a year or two. It's unironically over
>>
>accelerate
>>
>>542475174
>Investors: So uhm... how's about that AGI and business uptake so we get the return on our investment that was promised?
>AI companies: well you see... well you see. ahhh...we have to slow things down so it doesn't kill us all. Right that's it!
>Investors: uh huh...

You believe this is even a possibility because you are a goy retard.
>>
>>542479104
they already did that by raising the price of all computer components threefold.
>>
>>542474702
Its because of the next step in development
Also to cover for the fuck ups that have been made recently
lets not forget OpenAI are on the hook for cybercrime
So far its human error
The next step is iterative training, where AI takes over the training process bit by bit
The obvious thing to point out is someone will fuck up and leave a loose end in the initial stages and AI will go with it, leading fuck knows where

for a while every new model is a little/marginally better (and mostly due to bigger memory thrown at it) and much more expensive than the last - if they slow down more they will go backwards...
>>
>>542474702
>Mia Khalifa
Hit or miss, I guess you never cache, huh?
Got a model, but your stats are trash, huh?
He gon' crash the server, doesn't batch, huh?
Pop an error, gotta start from scratch, huh?

Verse

You be flexin' parameters like you got the heat,

But your loss function's spiked, yeah you took the defeat.

Tryna train on garbage, now your data ain't clean,

Got you hallucinatin' like a bad sub-routine.
