I knew bartenders that worked at hard Rock Cafe who would count hundreds of dollars in tips just from one night. COVID destroyed that area and it never really recovered you gotta remember I worked there 15 years ago but being 20 and clocking out of work at night with 40-50 bucks in my pocket not counting my hourly wages was dope plenty of money for beer and drugs.

They MAKE you pay more in food costs, and give you shittier service. In the US, you pay less for food, and that last bit you pay directly to the server for much better service.
