>Israel and America, you’re good. Saudis, go to hell.
You already made the very same thread and i answered you. Israeli flagged ships are still blockaded. They cannot pass and will be subject to Yemeni fire if they come near the Bab al Mandeb. Nothing goes out of the port of Eilat and through Bab al Mandeb to this day. They and Saudis are subject of a blockade.

All other ships including american vessels are allowed to pass. The US rejected the Saudi demands to intervene against Yemen for that reason. This is the case since the deal struck with the Houtis in 2024 after the exchange of fire between the US fleet and the Houtis dating back to 2023-2024. The deal remained effective even after Yemenis sent missiles toward Eilat and Israel which prompted a unilateral response of Israel without US intervention.

Saudis are not traitors. Anybody who thinks saudis are traitors is retarded. They've been openly siding with USA (Israel) for a loong loooooong time. Saudis are to USA what USA is to Israel. From my perspective, Houthis prioritize dealing with the closest (and easiest to deal with) enemy first.
>>
>>542485217
>From my perspective, Houthis prioritize dealing with the closest (and easiest to deal with) enemy first.
It's even simpler than that, they're directly attacked by the Saudis and thus they react. They're not in a position to fight everyone all at once, so they struck a deal with the US. But the deal does not involve Israel which is still barred from passage.
Houtis are blocking passage to two nations: Israel and Saudi Arabia. Their condition to lift the blockade on Israel is ending the war on Gaza and their condition to lift the blockade on Saudi arabia is to stop sending armed mercenaries to fight them.

Iran went from 90% warscore to 99% warscore. The Red Sea pipeline cope is OVER. The Houthis are keeping this as an exclusively Houthi-Saudi regional conflict, which existed before the attack on Iran started. Pakistan isn't getting involved. So the US and Israel have no justification of getting involved unless they want to expand this war they are already losing. The Shia are collectively gaining regional power as well.

The US tried to force Yemen's hand and break the Houtis in 2023-2024 which yielded very poor result and struck a deal instead. The deal does not involve Israeli flagged ships which are still blockaded and are unable to cross the strait.

International shipping including saudi arabia and Israel is allowed thanks to the the US-Houti deal. But it does not cover Israel. Even when Houtis fired missiles toward Israel lately, the US did not attack houtis and the latest attacks were led unilaterally by Israel.

Even Saudis will eventually struck a deal with Houtis if they're rational actors as the only thing they ask from them is to stop arming and sending mercenaries their way in exchange of peace.

>>542486795
Are you retarded?
>>
>>542486653
Maybe, maybe not, either way, your statement remains speculative.
I'll give you one that is factual: throughout the history of Israel in the middle east, no country was more beneficial to its existence than the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Not Jordan. Not the UAE. Not Turkey.

They were the most active in trying to dismantle the arab republics which they saw as threat to their monarchic rule.
They were the most persistent in trying to get the US military involved in the middle east to fight both Iraq and Iran.
They were the most direct backers of the jihadi groups who caused the syrian civil war and the spread of ISIS in Iraq against the PMF.
They started the war in Yemen.
They supported Sissi in Egypt.
They blockaded Qatar and considered a military invasion of the country when it refused to align with them on their hawkish stance on Iran in 2017.

Just remove the Saudis from the equation and there would be a far less favorable middle east to Israel interests.

houthis piss their pants at the thought of burgers coming back to slap them around and you take it as a win?
>>
>>542487428
>I wonder if the US would chose Israel over Saudis.
The premise of this question is very retarded. There is no problematic choice. The decision is already made and the US will always chose Israel over Saudis.
They engineered a situation where Saudis would beg them to have bases throughout the middle east, beg them to topple Iraq and Iran, beg them for help to make regime change in Syria and Morsi's Egypt possible, but that doesn't mean that Saudis are valuable to the US.
Every single one of those moves was in self-interest and in the interest of Israel.

Today the Saudis are facing the greatest historical threat of their existence. Their oil production and export is nearing 0 and they have no realistic path forward to defeat the ever-expanding Houtis. They begged the US to intervene and their demands were rejected.

The US will compromise any and all alliances but their alliance with Israel.
>>
>>542487671
>They engineered a situation where Saudis would beg them to have bases throughout the middle east,
You said in an early post that Saudis brought most of this on themselves
>>
>>542487504
Your point is moot.
Their financial contributions in those wars were performative and mandatory for their survival. Had they not done the least minimum to contribute to the war effort in those times, hell would break lose for the royal family. As they were doing so, they were also actively seeking to topple the very actors that were leading the fight against Israel.
Nasser's most perfidious enemy was the Saud family.
Hafez and Bashar's most perfidious enemy was the Saud family.
Saddam, Nasrallah, Khamenei, and Khomeini's most perfidious enemies were the Saudi family.

I'll grant you one exception to the rule and that is the interlude of the rule of King Fahd who was an exception to the rule and ended up being assassinated by members of his own family.
>>
>>542487767

Just start a decades long war on Yemen after the uprising, cause the harshest famin in recent history (worst than Ethiopia's), indiscriminately bomb civilian areas for years with total media cover, and, despite that, somehow managed to get a truce from the cool headed houtis. They just tried to restart hostilities a few days ago by launching yet another wave of attacks mostly through Syrian and Sudanese mercenaries.
Other than that? They dindo nuffin and the Houti retaliation is unwarranted.

>Thought they were just another one of our oil proxies.
In a way they are, but if you see things like that, the situation makes even more sense, so what is it that surprises you so much?

>Also aren't the Houthis an Iranian proxy?
Not really, but i understand why an american would think so. They are part of an alliance and Iran clearly pulls most of its weight but the Houtis are totally independent from Iran and much more so than say the Iraqi PMF. If Iran doesn't abide by the ideology that was their common ground, the vastly more ideological houtis would immediatly part away.

>We're at war with Iran. And the Hotuhi flag even says 'death to America'?
True but geopolitics aren't black and white. You have a north star and your purpose is to seek means to manifest your will into reality, nothing more and nothing less. You also have to cope with realities of the moment and prioritize targets. The first and most important objective of the houtis and Iran as it relates to Yemen is the survival of Houtis and the consolidation of their position. Their greatest fear is their exhaustion and collapse. The second greatest objective is to maximize their leverage as a mean of dissuasion against further US escalations.

The US tried to break them in 2023-2024 but failed and they consequently struck a deal with them instead. Allow international shipping through the bab al mandeb with the exception of Israel and Saudi Arabia and in exchange you can do whatever you wish in your vicinity. Since then, the houtis launched missiles at Israel without getting a US retaliation (the retaliation was unilateral from Israel) and they're now buckbreaking the Saud who asked for US support which was denied. This truce with the US allows them to statpad on missile and drone stockpiles and to consolidate their power, fend off the Saudis comfortably while the situation for Iran remains somewhat manageable.

Thanks for the response. Yes, i said he was an exception and even highlighted why. I enumerated countless means by which they only helped Israel thrive in the region. In other terms, i laid out my perspective with historical examples. My mental model makes sense. Yours doesn't.

I was hoping for some counter argument but you're just stating that faysal was the rule and not an exception without explaining why. Not just that, but you also conveniently ignored the entire chain of thought and countless examples i mentioned on how the Saudis were the greatest convenience to Israel in the region.

>your historical illiteracy
I'm afraid you're the historically illiterate one. And a dogmatist zealot too.
>>
>>542486653
This.
>>
>>542489762
your entire mental model is of a high schooler. regional actors slaughtering their own rivals for monarchic survival doesn't make them israel's benefactors. by your broken logic, khomeini fighting saddam for eight years or saddam invading kuwait was an "israeli plot" because it weakened arab republics. riyadh fought nasser because nasser was literally dropping chemical weapons on royalists in the north yemen civil war to topple the house of saud.

saudi arabia enforced the arab league boycott, blacklisted any global firm doing business with israel for decades, funded the 1967 and 1973 wars, and backed the khartoum resolution of "no peace, no recognition, no negotiations." every move they made was strictly to keep their own heads attached to their necks. calling basic intra islamic power struggles a "convenience to israel" is cope.
>>
>>542490364
Thank you for elaborating. The easiest way to expose a liar is by getting him to talk.

> riyadh fought nasser because nasser was literally dropping chemical weapons on royalists in the north yemen civil war to topple the house of saud
You just lied. Not only were the hostilities much older than that, there was even an assassination plot in 1958 long before the events you hint at which occured in late 1963. I'll go further than that and tell you that the Republicans were the rightful representatives of Yemen and that the Monarchists were puppets supported by the UK, Jordan and the Sauds.
The Saud didn't just conquer Arabia through treachery and prostitution to foreign actors like the UK, they also took over lands that belonged to Yemen, namely: Jizan, Asir, and Najran. If you want to recognize any representative Yemeni faction, it is that which asks for the retrocession of those lands, ie, the republicans.

Cooperating alongside British intelligence and Saudi Arabia, Israel clandestinely flew supply and airdrop missions to support the royalist tribes fighting the Egyptian-backed regime.

So not only were hostilities started by Saudis fearing the panarabist ideals of Nasser, they were also on the wrong side in Yemen and were cooperating with british intelligence and Israel in this war.
You couldn't pick a worst example than the 60s to 70s Yemeni civil war even if you wished.

>saudi arabia enforced the arab league boycott
Another lie. The boycott was not a decision spearheaded by Saudi Arabia but the entire Arab League with the most staunch advocates being Egypt and Syria. Moreso, it was, during that same boycott, cooperating with Israel in the Yemeni civil war, in the Iranian revolution and in the gulf war alike.

>funded the 1967 and 1973 wars
You mean, as opposed to doing absolutely nothing and being overthrown in return? They sent money while scheming with Israelis, British intelligence, the US, and plotting against the countries who fought them.
>>
>>542491318
I'll repeat myself in case i wasn't already clear enough:

When Nasser led the Arab effort to fight Israel, his greatest enemy came from the Arabian peninsula. The Sauds plotted against him on multiple occasions and tried to topple him from power.
When the Baathists took power in Syria and Iraq and became much more serious about their fight against Israel, guess who was their most overt 2nd enemy? You guessed it.
When Iran moved from a pro-israeli regime to one that opposes Israel, the Saud begged Saddam and showered him with money to go fight the Iranians.
They then turned their backs and begged the Americans to come fight Saddam on their behalf.
They then begged them to put their bases everywhere in the region and to fight Iran on their behalf.
When Hezbollah was formed as a response to the Israeli invasion in Lebanon in the 80s, their greatest enemies were the Saud.
When the Syria regime weakened, the Saud sent hords of zombies (the jihadi factions) to go topple him. They financed ISIS with the hopes that they would fend off the Iranian axis from Iraq and Syria.
When Morsi came in power in Egypt in the first democratic elections of the country's history, and when Morsi reopened the Gazan corridor and started sending help, it's most overt enemy was again the Sauds and they were the backers of the coup along with Israel and the US.

At every step of the way, modern history is littered with testimonies of my words.

The only reason the US rejected the Saudi demand to intervene is because they'd immediatly resort to blockading the strait. If they're left alone, they'll deal with their immediate problems.
In the same logic, they weren't attacking Saudis a few days ago before the Saudis decided to launch another attack against them.

Concession of a position you cannot undefinitely hold, even if due to internal civilian pressure, is also a defeat. You entered a very costly war to make sure the communist north doesn't take ahold of the country and that is exactly what ended up happening.

The fact that you dropped more bombs there than all the TNT-equivalent tonnage used in world war 2 isn't an argument in favor. It just makes the northern vietnamese stand that much more impressive.

Their movement emerged in an environment of rampant corruption (like everywhere but x1000) where the ruling authority was entirely subservient to the Sauds. They wrongly label houtis as vassals of Iran (they're only ideologically aligned). If you want the textbook definition of vassality and subservience, look at the ruling authority before them.

They were mostly a religious movement and weren't that political. The trigger for their uprising were the US bases that started popping in the region, the Iraq war in 2003 and the Israeli abuses in the west bank and gaza during that time. The pressure cooker erupted and the population took to the streets.

A coalition made up of multiple arab states including mine, egypt, the UAE and Saudi arabia led a decades long war against them and in support of another vassal state for the Sauds but this time with the entire Yemen supporting the Houtis. The western media completely turned the other way and didn't mediatize anything of what was happening but let's just say that they committed countless exactions in attempts to defeat them and even caused the greatest famin of the last decades comparable to the 1984 Ethiopian famin. Yemenis were eating dirt and locusts.

Btw, the Iranian support didn't come at the birth of the houti movement but later. It eventually matured with a transfer of tech. They formed yemeni engineers and showed them how to make shaheds and missiles and it completely altered the course of the conflict since Yemen was now able not just to defeat Saudi mercenaries on the ground but also to send missiles to their oil sites.

Today, 80% of the Yemeni population lives in Houti side. Saudis just tried another operation against them but it severely backfired. Houtis conquered 4000 square km of land, took effective control of bab al mandeb and its islands and just sent Saudi oil production to near 0.

we're literally their biggest trade partner
80% of all vietnamese hold a positive view of the US. most of the vietnamese prefer capitalism to communism. we did the same fucking thing to the goat fuckers in japan and germany. Id say the biggest failure of the vietnam war was the failure to build up the vietnamese manufacturing industry during the war. iraq and afgianistan are different because they are both objectively shitholes. afghanistan is landlocked, has no resources and no major rivers to power industry or trade.
iraq doesn't have any way to move goods. they don't have any major navigable rivers, they just have oil fields and those oil producing countries only really work with a small pop that get's paid oil dividends like saudi arabia and the emerates

I don't indulge with deluded mental gymnastics afficionados. I know you're not a man of truth and i know that no amount of evidence and argumentation will make you change your mind. You're a mindless beast. The only reason i could discuss the matter with you would be to frustrate you and i'm not interested in that either.

You won in Vietnam.
Hurray!
Are you satisfied now?

>morocco and egypt are our vassals
No lies detected but that's the wrong trigger. I only care about the truth and what you just said is true. I understand my statements about your loss in Vietnam hurt your thin skinned ego, but that's not my problem.

our only failure in vietnam was not building up the vietnamese industry before we left. had we improved their economy during the war like we did in the 2000s, the south vietnamese wouldn't have cucked out on us

what land did they conquer and hold? Is it farmland and oil fields or is it like how algeria is massive but it's like 90% inhospitable desert no one gives a shit about?

I mean yeah, that's the strategic reason. But Yemeni hate for Saudi upstarts runs deep

israel armed royalists in the 60s to trap nasser's army in a yemeni meat grinder, which is exactly why the egyptian military was cooked by 1967. you are confusing a tactical proxy war designed to bleed your biggest border threat with a secret saudi alliance and it exposes your low iq analysis. your geopolitical thesis relies on completely ignoring basic military strategy.

The thing to care about is the port of Mokha which doesn't look like much but it's the port the Saudis could have used to launch offensives against the Houthis. That option is over now. The other thing to care about is Mayyun island in the middle of the Red Sea's narrowest port. It's a mountain of spider holes and can be used to launch missiles and drones from to disrupt the strait. You don't need giant aircraft carriers to cause billions in damages you just need a few drone operators.

Now any offensives the Saudis can launch have to cross inhospitable desert and requires entering mountainous passes prime for ambush. Rooting out the Houthis just became 100X harder.

Ngl watching videos of sandniggers in dresses charging positions with aks brings a warm fuzzy feeling to my heart. These guys are fighting for their strip of dirt and it’s obvious how personal it is. Hopefully this somehow ends in Riyadh getting sacked lul

Saudi Arabia is experiencing their own version of the US's war on terror it looks like. Several times worse with drones coming into play. Could you imagine 2003 but IEDs AND drones constantly harassing US forces?

>doesn't affect Israel
Saudi can't sell oil for USD.
No USD means less demand for treasuries (higher interest rates).
No Saudi oil on the market means more expensive oil which increases inflation which also increases interest rates.
All this puts enormous pressure on American politicians to just cut their losses and leave which hurts Israel because Israel sure as hell can't defeat Iran without American zogbots doing pretty much all the fighting.
>>
>>542488155
Saudi bombed a runway to force a Yemen plane to land elsewhere a couple months ago. For this stupidity Yemen has decided that Saudi will no longer sell oil.
