I really don't understand /pol/'s stance on Law Enforcement but for me over the years I feel like they've done a lot of good for me despite some of the negative experiences I've had in years past. I have a friend who's a State Trooper. The news media often paints negative views of excessive force and biased behavior. Cops have helped me out a lot and to say every Cop is bad or all of them are "dicks" is a broad generalization that's often incorrect. I’ve had university police where I'm from respond to my property and remove stolen vehicles without any issue, and I always made a point of thanking the officers for their help. I was especially grateful that my appreciation was passed all the way up to the lieutenant of the department, because I think officers deserve to hear when their work genuinely makes a difference.Additionally, a close friend of mine was nearly killed recently in a scooter accident near my home. He survived in large part because firefighters, paramedics, and police responded so quickly. I’ll always be grateful to the first responders who were there when every minute mattered.Cops aren't always bad guys, why does it seem as though many in today's society paint such a harsh picture of them?

In fact i asked about kicking out my girlfriend without wvicting her and 7 cops showed up guns drawn to evict her. Never had a cop follow traffic laws or let me cross a crosswalk designated as pedestrians first before they did their thing.Never seen a cop working except when it is overtime security for a VIP at a hotel or a baseball/football/soccer game/Trump rally. I thank God and Allah and Jewish Abraham everytime I see a Buddy Johnson Memorial sign on the interstate because I know it is 1 less redneck inbred wife beater we have to exist with, but ironically we had to pay out his funeral, his death policy, and name a section of highway for his unaccomplished smoothbrain. But the number of corrupt shitbag bad cops seems to outnumber them so much because so many have been caught on youtube video outright harassing, beating and unlawfully arresting innocent people cause their egos got bruised. There's playlists with legit hundreds of videos of cops within just the past 7 or 8 years pulling some of the most vile, blatantly criminal shit you can imagine on legitimately innocent people. Those cops up til very recently did it without giving a single fuck because qualified immunity and their departments, supervisors protected them knowing full well the cops violated every imaginable civil right, federal law. With cops only in the last few years FINSLLY being held criminally and civilly liable for those crimes, the occupation of police might start rebuilding the trust the shitbags of the profession completely shattered on live video with little care over the past decade or so.
