But it seems the past few years its turned into "they eat shit and bathe in cow urine" "they throw trash everywhere" "they are loud vulgar and rude" "they creep on women" "they are scammers". So what happened was the Simpsons "Apu" controversy what started it? Was it that guy trolling call centers on YouTube? Was it the surge of travel Vloggers going to India?"The Problem with Apu" came out in 2017 so I think its definitely around the start of it because the general consensus from that film was "He's just a character in a cartoon and his stereotypes weren't even negative" I don't think any race or ethnic group has had such harsh negative stereotypes, even African American or Asian or Italian stereotypes aren't that bad comparatively.
