For whatever reason the boomer mind is especially geared towards relative deprivation and maintenance of perceived social status within the overall social hierarchy. This is what fuels the phenomenon of 'karens' and it will only get worse as they age and see themselves being by their own children. They are constantly comparing themselves to others and despite having more they genuinely feel like they have less. If we hooked them up to brain scanning equipment these feelings would show up as genuine preceived physical violence against them. We have not even seen the worst of it yet.
