Clearly he was selected to be the next president so what is his purpose because obviously it is not to put America in a better position. What is the end goal of having Trump as president?

Anyone who thinks the people get to select any of their "representatives" or leaders is a gullible fool. If the people actually got to choose and could make a difference then the powers that be would never allow it in the first place.

you absolutely get to choose
your choice however is completely irrelevant because no matter what you are choosing you end up in the same exact spot
any person you can vote for, any person you see with a microphone behind a camera, anyone who has a public voice is allowed to be there and under control
