Zoomers and millenials can no longer afford cars, so more and more states are allowing side by side off-highway vehicles to be registered for use on the roads. What are the political implications of this? Will Gen Alpha be considered lucky to have a paid-off Tuk-Tuks in 2040?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5439Vs5o0pc
>>542786835You think those gay go carts are cheap?
My county allows them on most roads, which is cool in theory but the machines themselves simply arent fun. They are belt driven (lol no thanks), hot and overly loud for how slow they are. After borrowing my buddy's for a half day I knew it wasn't for me. A used 1st or 2nd Gen tacoma is far superior
>>542787016Also this. They are stupid expensive for what you are getting. Now one of those Mahindra ruxors thats a different story.
>>542787016His is bigger than my actual car
>>542787054>A used 1st or 2nd Gen tacomaJust buy the truck everyone else wans he say.
this is very basedopen jeep-type vehicles are the most fun to drive
>>542786835Sad for that little kid. Her dad is a retard.
>>542786835I keep my little runabout on my property. No real desire to drive in down the road.
>>542786835Have you checked third world traffic? Tons of mopeds and trikes (tuk-tuks) with tiny engines because they cant afford anything more. As the west decays in every measurable aspect we'll end up like that too. I imagine western equvivalents will look like these german cabin scooters of the 1950s. Pic related is upgraded for american conditions.
>>542786835>20 grand for one of these pieces of shit with the same displacement as a 10 grand atvmore like people making their own ratrods
>>542786835Those cost way more than cars
>>542787332they're 20k, matching the bottom of the barrel new car in the US which is the hyundai venuea new civic is 30kso they don't cost a ton more but you get much less for your money (which zoomers are used to anyway)
>>542787230agree, obesity is no joke
>>542786835A lot more road deaths
It will never catch on because of the inherent safety risk. As long as Indians are out there driving big long haul trucks with commercial freight, Americans will want big steel SUVs and pickups.
>>54278747420k for entry-level I think the most expensive is a polaris expedition 4 seater, 50k.Stupid stupid expensive. Belt driven and a arms made of plastisteel. Just go find a suzuki samurai and throw some 33s on it. So many better on/off road toys out there.
>>542787016This, the one pictured is $40-50k. Any one that goes highway speed is going to be that more more. You can get one around 10-20k (10k if used) that goes up to 40mph. It's also horrifically loud, you have to wear ear protection or it will deafen you over time. You have no weather protection, and going even 40mph gives you deathly speed wobble. Not to mention how unsafe they are and they don't even have fuel gauges. They're pieces of shit, not worth the money if you're using them for transportation. Get an ebike and a towable bike trailer for groceries and shit.
>>542788904Or just get a Polaris ranger 900.. utility out the ass and can still do 55.
The promise of capitalism was that things would get cheaper, because of progress in manufacturing technology. Now they turned all cars into luxury products. Scampitalism.
>>542786835side-by-sides have been a thing forever, they're typically street legal in rural areasthey're also ridiculously expensive. an economy car is WAY cheaper
