>we assumed that there would be red lines that wouldn't be crossed
The red lines were crossed long ago, the US has already accepted that there will be an extreme oil crisis. This should update people in the direction of expecting a serious escalation in the war, since energy markets are the main reason the US hasn't escalated.

Maybe the Houthis should stop being terrorists

I'm just glad we get to prop them up during their time of trouble.

>energy markets are the main reason the US hasn't escalated.
Sort of, but really it's the election now. The next thing Trump does will be focused on whether or not he thinks he can get away with it. In other words, how desperate is he to look like a big strong man vs how confident is he he can pull it off.
>>
>>542788683
They may hold off until the elections but the point is they're not going to leave. They can't really leave at this point without practically surrendering their control of the region.
>>
I'm pretty sure this is what the USA wants. We blow up the middle east so that it ceases to be of any value to anyone, and then we take Canada and Venezuela and drink their milkshake(oil) and the USA will be the big-dick number 1 oil exporter in the world and all the vast riches that used to go to goat fucking CIA cutouts in Saudi Arabia, will stay here in the USA where it belongs.
>>
>>542789301
It’s a dumb strategy because we don’t have the muscle to actually prevent China from just moving in there and running shit after we pack up and leave
>>
>>542789010
That will be the final outcome one way or another. He'll push surrender until after the midterm (We got everything we wanted so we're leaving, no nuclear weapon MAGA!!!) and Iran will manage the strait with Oman and play nice because their weakened regime is now a major player. Before the election, Trump could decide that a flashy operation of some kind is a good idea, but that's risky. But he is a buffoon surrounded by yes men, so it's a total wild card.
>>
Another goal accomplished by the oil crisis, is that it's going to cripple global food production exactly when the weather is also gearing up to fuck everyone, so that the double-whammy will maximize how many billions die.

We can expect Africa and India to take the biggest losses. Probably in excess of 1 billion dead in each country. That's the goal. Drastically reduce the useless eater population.
-I'm not saying I'm for it or that I agree with it, I'm simply calling it like I see it. I'm not personally in charge of anything and I don't accept any blame for what the ruling-class does. This is their world. I just live in it.

>>542789301
I've thought about this too, but if that was the plan they could have just lit the powder keg right away, and not depleted their own reserves for months and spent 10s of billions on the war.
>>
>>542789464
One of the ways US farmers stayed operable was by selling crops to USAID. People seem to not know about that. They lost the US government as a major market (but the gov can inject monopoly bucks another way, just less predictable now), they lost their footing in major international markets, and every other cost crisis is catching up to them like it is everyone else.
>>
>>542787890
They just jack up prices and take their profits anyway. They don't give a fuck.

The US can't really accept this, and especially not in conjunction with the Houthis completely wrecking Saudi Arabia and Iraq falling away from them. Their grip on the region would become too tenuous and the petrodollar would be at risk. That's not even factoring in Israel's influence, which may be an even bigger problem.

You can't surrender what you don't have.

>>542789964
So what's the alternative? We're running out of ways to escalate without dragging the US into the worst forever war we've ever seen. At some point it has to end. The one thing Trump has been good at is being scared of making things worse, cutting and running. Starting the war was the losing play. Cutting your losses is likely, and if his motivation is whether it hurts him politically, the seized oil market will get bad enough that a bad deal is better than no deal. Then he declares victory and goes golfing.

I will not speak out against the bankers again if they wipe out india and africa and leave Whites and Japanese alone

>>542787793
so youre telling me there is a chance ill get a good reason to build a wood gasifier
>>
>>542790342
He should have cut his losses a long time ago, that's what the JP Morgan guys are saying, though it's been obvious for months.

And I agree with you there is literally no good option for escalation. They can (presumably) destroy much of Iran's infrastructure and send the country into chaos but IRGC cells will still be able to lock down the strait, and more importantly torch the gulf and Israeli infrastructure in return.

I understand what youre saying but what red line is Trump waiting for?

>Trump could decide that a flashy operation of some kind is a good idea, but that's risky. But he is a buffoon surrounded by yes men, so it's a total wild card.
>Trump could decide
Trump doesn't decide anything other than maybe when to swallow his chewed food. It's become apparent that he just does whatever some pedophile kike chabadnigger tells him to do. That's any politician regardless of the color of their tie though
>>
>>542787793

it's because the strategic oil reserve is finally run out
>>
>>542787793
Oh look, another brown leaf homo obsessed with americans. Pathetic monkey. And the colored monkeys are very stupid. Despite overall oil deliveries increasing, these ookers are too stupid to realize that articles like this are meant to support artificial gasoline prices to pad profits. If you ookers werent so fucking stupid, gas prices would be falling.

Yes, should have but didn't. But there is not a military solution to this.

Red line meaning what? The point where cost of surrender is lower than cost of going along like this? The way prices are beginning to move steadily up, economically probably soon. It's a political calculation though, so Trump would love to delay it until November 11 somehow. That's the closest thing to a red line that I can imagine. Or, economically, there would be a point where total capitulation stops the bleeding so to speak. We would presumably pass that point so that we can sign a "historic deal" that allows prices to creep down for a while, though with a higher baseline.

It's also entirely possible Trump has checked out on this entirely and it's up to Pete to bungle it forever. If that is the case, we just whittle away I guess. It's hard to seriously project these things.

>things still go to shit in NA/EU but jews already flooded them with savage animals and bunkered down in Argentina
I doubt they thought that all out but it could be what they're thinking now. They probably just wrongly believed Iranians were insanely retarded like arabs and they'd just play none of their cards right at all and then the kikes could set up a central bank there ez pz and they could keep making greater israel

When the bankers are fixing to toss themselves out of windows, it's always the case that main street is already on fire. The cat is out of the bag for these detached nerds, but mainstreet has already been eating rats for a while.
>>
>>542789301
It will take decades to build out the infrastructure needed to supply what the middle east does now, especially since Canada's and Venezuelan oil is heavy 'sour oil' which take special refineries to even process.
>>
>>542791071

The thing is this works on a lag of multiple weeks. The crisis is already going to happen, and if oil began flowing right now that would only take effect in quite a while.
>>
>>542789964
>the petrodollar would be at risk.
The petrol dollar is already on the way out. Trump could pull our forces out today and it wouldn't make a difference. The damage is already done.
>>
>>542792895
Then there is little incentive not to escalate. Might as well just nationalize the oil and let the dollar sneed out
>>
>>542791150
There will never be a draft, but I wish there would be one.
