Britain is 100% finished.

>being invaded by thousands of third worlders that get everything paid for by the state
>old people getting obscene levels of handouts whether they paid taxes throughout their lives or not
>National Health Service is a money pit; takes over two weeks to see a GP
>San Francisco-tier housing policy throughout the country that totally cripples growth and leaves housing in a disgustingly expensive and shit state
>houses are so tiny and expensive
>taxes pay for scum of the earth to get handouts in a million different ways, including handouts for fake mental health blue haired tiktok freaks, third worlders getting mansions in central London
>government increasing regulations and taxes on employment and housing, leading to less jobs and more expensive housing
>all the jobs are in London and the government's response is to increase taxes on London
>energy more expensive than everywhere else in the Western world (either Germany or UK are the worst), meaning deindustrialisation is ongoing
>government bans new oil and gas exploration
>fracking industry banned from the start
>mentality of the entire country is that hard work and intelligence are evil, and stupidity and parasitism are the greatest virtue
>free speech is illegal, internet censorship and privacy destruction regulations have started and are going to get worse

I have totally tuned out all popular culture and all native media. I don't identify with the proles. I don't identify with the middle class. I don't identify with posh people. I don't pay attention to politics in this country and don't know who my MP is or who runs my council.

Every tradition is hollow. I die of cringe when I see people cooing over cutesy traditions on Twitter. I'd trade every single tradition and old building for an American pickup truck and a $130k job at Bucees.

When the UK was a Christian nation, they were on top of the world. Now you can see the curses pronounced in the Bible for a nation that turns its back on God. “The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower. He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.”

So why aren’t you preparing for the inevitable collapse? Move away from London, it’s going to be nuked.

To be honest i don’t believe the invasion stuff, it really doesn’t bother me much and reads very much as divide and conquer. The only real thing I’m worried about is internet censorship and laws and regulations that affect our privacy and anonymity that results in less self sovereignty.

The real invaders are those with eyes in your phone and a hand in your bank account. Every piece of data and tracking that you hand over in the name of convenience. Even just to post here you have to jump through hoops.

it is the state of the world and if you see it on the news it is a distraction being presented by corporation, government and the billionaires who own the news. Divert your anger into higher places, brown people and leftists are the least of our worries, and if you’re either angry at or destabilised by other people who have no idea what they are doing,( much like any of us) rather than government, and laws and legislations then the system is fucking working on you and all the bad shit in the world benefits from enough people believing the bullshit.

the only time pensions are actually worthwhile is if you get matched contributions through your job. over and above that amount, self investment is a better option

>>542797948
These aren't living inside their mansions and they have their own personal guard
>>
>>542799186
The default contribution rate of 3% from the employer will get you little by retirement age and the default investment strategy of "medium risk" can be fatal to your growth, so "jobs automatically get you pensions" is not a good way to look at it

>>542799069
most pensions are worthwhile because the benefits of the tax shelter are huge
the advantage over a private pension depends what you're invested in, but many large workplace pensions in global equities can be decent and have lower fees than you could get in a SIPP

They'll just keep extending the normal pension age. Before you know it workplace pension will be 70 before you can claim it, and the state pension won't exist.

Fuck the political establishment, they all deserve to die.
>>
>>542799251
>YEA BUT HOW I DONT KNOW HOW SHOW ME.
1 first make sure you have a cash emergency fund. about 2-3x your monthly salary. don't skip this step
2 open an isa. an isa allows you to invest up to £20k per year tax free.
3 put money into your isa each month. about 10% of your salary. this will hurt at first but you will get used to it
4 3-4 times a year buy new investments in your isa. aim for a diverse basket of ETFs (exchange traded funds). e.g. 1x ftse100, 1xs&p500, 1xeuro, 1x high yield etc etc
5 repeat until you have about 10-12 different funds and are maxing out your isa every year
6 watch dividends roll in. reinvest them, inside the isa. don't take things out of your isa unless your life depends on it. don't stress over small fluctuations in the prices of the ETFs themselves. diversity is your friend overall.
7 rebalance the investments if any of the funds gets overweight etc
8 once you have this system working, you can work on other things. precious metals, cryptocurrencies, more risky stocks, whatever you want as long as you are prepared to lose the money
9 relax, have a beer
10 when your dividends become enough to live on, retire if you want
there ya go anon, you are now more financially literate than most of the population
>>
>>542799549
Thank fuck for that.
>>542799582
Ok I understand better. Should you be asking your employer to put more of your wages into your pension (even if it's above their contribution rate) or should i just take that money and open a stocks and shares account in my bank?
>>
>>542799397
>most pensions are worthwhile because the benefits of the tax shelter are huge
yes, that is why you should take advantage of workplace pensions
but you can also invest tax free outside a pension and have more control over your investments
>>
>>542799709
We're going to plunder your pension account and spend it on bombs to blow up non-anglos.
>>

>>
>>542799679
look the tax advantages of contributing via pension are truly massive so prioritizing pension over ISA usually makes sense

>4 3-4 times a year buy new investments in your isa. aim for a diverse basket of ETFs (exchange traded funds). e.g. 1x ftse100, 1xs&p500, 1xeuro, 1x high yield etc etc
i disagree with this bit, a single global equity fund VWRP or VALL (maybe wait till 2027 to get VALL, it's a new fund) is all you need
these are very, very diverse funds, anything else isn't really "buying the whole market' but gambling and picking stocks.

>5 repeat until you have about 10-12 different funds and are maxing out your isa every year
just keep buying VWRP but OK

>6 watch dividends roll in. reinvest them, inside the isa. don't take things out of your isa unless your life depends on it. don't stress over small fluctuations in the prices of the ETFs themselves. diversity is your friend overall.
VWRP is an accumulation fund so the dividends are automatically reinvested. VWRL is the income/distribution version and if u held this the dividends would be periodically deposited in ur brokerage account as cash.
bear in mind that you can invest outside your 20K ISA limit in a GIA but will have to pay dividend tax on profits.

>7 rebalance the investments if any of the funds gets overweight etc
don't bother, just buy a single global equity fund

>8 once you have this system working, you can work on other things. precious metals, cryptocurrencies
keeping a small percentage in gold ETFs can be a good idea
i wouldn't bother with anything else, investing is supposed to be boring.

>Can i have a LISA and ISA?
lisas give you a little bonus but the money is locked up. lisas are basically a way of encouraging people to save a bit more for their old age and not pissing away all their money. you can decide if the extra bonus is worthwhile for you. personally i'm not that bothered as i would prefer to use the lisa allowance in my main isa

i'd even have a chat with AI about it, don't ask it to pick stocks for you but gemini is okay on general financial advice in my experience

also see the leddit personal finance flowchart at https://ukpersonal.finance/flowchart/

I personally didn't ever bother with LISAs since it didn't store that much but your main tax shelters in the UK are your pension contributions via employer match and salary sacrifice and your ISA, so use them.

the smart thing to do if you get a house is also to use mortgage as leverage, by that i mean, put the money you might use to pay off your mortgage fully into your pension, then use part of the tax free growth to pay the whole mortgage off when you retire.

>>542800358

>>
>>542800843
>put the money you might use to pay off your mortgage fully into your pension, then use part of the tax free growth to pay the whole mortgage off when you retire
Yea but like if you're paying monthly towards your mortgage I wouldn't exactly have a lot of wiggle room to live off of if i just chucked a huge chunk of my wages into my pension.
>>
Live your life as if things are going to get worse, because they will.
>>
>>542801110
well mortgages have an affordability test, you should be able to contribute to pension to take advantage of employer match while paying it down
for most people a mortgage is the cheapest money you'll ever get, so you can make yourself better off by taking advantage of that fact plus the government's quite generous (for now) incentives for DC pension savings
>>
You're a kike.
