IN FACT THE POORLY SECURED ANDROID DEVICE DOESN'T ACTUALLY DO MUCH OTHER THAN TAKE PHOTOS, VIDEO, AND CHANT "WHO'S A GOOD BOY?!" TO ITSELF OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

THE REST IS DONE AT A DATA CENTER.

logs are text files that barely take up space on a drive unless there's a catastrophic error causing hundreds of thousands of lines of extra text to be added per day
hope this helps

That the analysis is done remotely and not on-camera is probably the basis of some Jewish legal pilpul about what the cameras do and do not do legally.

>>542804217
"American" Jews have a year or two left before angry Americans start picking the rats off in the streets.

>>542804322
Yes Shlomo but this does not excuse the use of these cameras.
>>
>>542803990
Please explain to me why these smartphones on poles are bad while security cameras which already exist, everywhere, which can and will do exactly the same things, are somehow fine

The images sound like they are saved. Images can be HUGE.
Leaving little room for logs.
You can partition the SSD even in an android I bet to be for logs only vs photos only vs OS. This way too.many photos wouldn't overwrite the logs. Plenty of log space.
Photos should be deleted as well after being sent to the server.... or only retained physically for a designed & supportable time frame. I suppose to crash these you'd just keep sending "fast moving objects" ny the lense until it fills up storage. Maybe homemade slingshots with pond stones. 100 images per stone? Especially if the model to read the image happens on a server and the camera is just a glorified motion detector.
Funny stuff.
Coded by jeets I bet.
Billion dollar company?
Running on Jeetware.
I'm increasingly convinced we don't live in a meritocracy but a nepotistic or cronyist society. Good ol' boy society. No pun intended with the log.
Just know a congressperson
earn their trust,
tell them your camera idea,
get the contract,
half ass an MVP but spend lthe rest on further lobbying and PR,
get more contracts,
spend more on lobbying pr,
repeat
still use shitty mvp
never improve it
get a yacht and fuck off to Little St. John.

>FLOCK CAMERAS ARE POORLY SECURED ANDROID DEVICES
So in a year's time some guy will have hacked into the cameras undetected?

They could be hacked right now and nobody would know because of how shit the security is
Everyone is trying to make it sound like this is funny but this makes it far worse.

>commit a felony by hacking the camera to get 12 hours of footage of cars driving on a public road
lol
If he wanted to watch traffic so badly he could've just searched "traffic cam" on Youtube
Here's an example of some super secret sensitive footage you might find on a Flock camera:
