You could have spent those hours learning a skill or going to a gym and you wouldn't be poor or lonely today

Beautiful borders. How did you get them to look like that? I always get border gore slop
>>
But no in all seriousness, i beckon every polfag to play paradox games, or hoi4 at least. There is a lot of history to learn and where things used to be so simple
>>542805685
if i remember correctly, for this campaign i just needed austria-hungary to dissolve and shatter into tiny pieces. As you can see they are all puppeted, since this was when power blocs was OP and you can just outright dominate their market.
But yes, this game is prone to border gore, especially if you dont carefully manage your conquests
>>
fuck off with your German Facism.

Brazilian Facism and conquering the South Americas to invade the USA. THATS whats up!
>>
>>542805851
Yeah that makes sense. Austria controls most of Central Europe so if the player draws their borders I guess there’ll be less border gore.
And I agree. Paradox games are fucking kino. Wonder what you meant by this though
>where things used to be so simple

Seems like a fun campaign.

I guess i was hearkening back to a time when states actually meant something, and geopolitics is just
>can i get a warm water port
>can i unite the german peoples under one nation
>can i overthrow the yoke of colonialism
>can i make <shitty country> a regional power
>can i revive <historical nation>
>can i spread the good word of communism to everyone
wherein nowadays in the modern world geopolitics is
>i want to spead gay buttsex in the middle east
>i want to serve my jewish masters
>i want more globohomo
i suppose when playing the game and really larping as the supreme will of the state, you can see a direction to what your state is heading towards. nowadays, its all so doom and gloom. ask a belgian what theyll think belgium will achieve in the next ten years and theyll probably just shrug. go back to this timeframe and everything was so fresh and exciting, belgium was actually a force to be reckoned with, a real colonial power on their own.
Personally i try to act out what-ifs scenario, like sweden actually doing something in the industrial era (dont look at what they actually did back in the scramble for africa, which was nothing). To think they used to be a real power back in the great northern war

the controls to do anything in this game make it unplayable

Too easy. I reestablished the Qing and conquered the world.

That was beautiful anon. You articulated a lot of things I’ve thought about before.
You’re right. There was something back then that made the world feel so beautiful and transcendent. Just as you described it.
I wonder what that was.

I’m currently playing as Eurasia in the TFR mod. It has an explicitly anti-liberal and anti-modern ideology which may be of interest.

They’re not that hard to learn anon.
