I used to be a major trump supporter. When he won in 2016, I hung his maga banner on the flagpole of a local journalist school. I got a tattoo on the back of my leg. I have defended him for years. And the last election was the perfect redemption story. Somehow you could always relax, trust gods plan and know that trump was the way to go. And I truly still believe he was. But I think he may have served his purpose. The support for Israel and everything that revolves it is one of the main reasons. Then it’s the ukraine war. The Lindsay O Graham sanctioning act on Russia will do nothing but to drag out the war. The entire world suffers economically, and he’s just making it worse. Not sticking it to the left even. The Israel Palestine conflict was a godsend for the left to fuck up and get divided. All trump had to do was to not support Israel and he would win both sides. Not support Palestine, but simple not supporting Israel. I feel JD has a very strong chance of winning next election, but I think the world needs more like tucker carlson. My question is this. Would it be better to continue the maga train with JD Vance? Or would it be better to split up and go more anti jew, full free speech etc?Going with Vance is keeping the Republican Party stronger vs the divided left, but will it bring much positive change? And if the maga supporters split, it will get so weak that the left might swipe in with force. But the payoff would be way better if it works out. (And any leftist winning the election would have us in the same spot or worse, just so that’s clear).
