The level of military ineptitude in this war is reaching WW1 levels, where neither side can come up with an effective doctrine to leverage the new tech at its disposal to achieve a breakthrough - mechanised assaults don't work because drones blow up all vehicles, mass wave charges don't work because both sides are deeply entrenched, air superiority is nulled by modern air defence - anything bigger than a large bird that gets within 100km of the front line gets immediately shot down. Even Ukraine's allies have given up - they are just supplying Ukraine with defensive systems hoping the the Russians would exhaust themselves first especially after they tried meatgrinding Bakhmut with manpower that they don't have. We are seeing some fucking Terminator-esque footage of scattered groups of infantry - no artillery support, no air support, not transport, no logistics.
