I don't feel bad for people with student loans. My entire college (two majors, three years) cost about $40k. My parents paid part of it, now I have about $15k in loans and I'm on track to make $90k in my first year of work. You're telling me that taxpayers like ME need to pay because retards got themselves into $300k of student debt instead of staying in-state? Why can't that money go towards tax cuts or infrastructure investment? Fuck student loan forgiveness. Make the retards wage until they die.
There has to be a better system, the costs are massively inflated. accounting for inflation our parents never had to pay anywhere near as much for a college degree. And not everyone is going to get hired right away after they get the degree. Some people will never find a job for what the degree was in either. The entire system needs to be reworked and modified. I never have felt that college should be 100% free. But I never had a hard well thought out stance on that to begin with. Rhe stuff I do I have a hard opinion on is what I mentioned about our parents getting an education for much less cost even with inflation counted in. So the costs today are just totally made up and bullshit. In some ways this is reminding me of our healthcare system and how the costs for everything are hyper inflated as well. And how medicine often times is a ridiculous amount in the hundreds per month or thousands if your insurance won’t pay for it. Or if you lose your job and have no insurance set up and you get hit by a car you will have 100k in bills for your hospital stay.
>>542820677>I don't feel bad for people with student loans >has a 15k loan??????
>>542820881Maybe fewer people should be going to college and high school should be more rigorous? College isn't rigorous anymore either unless you deliberately take hard classes like I did, too.
>>542820941Don't feel bad for me. I'm using it as leverage to buy stocks and I'm making way more than I would've had I not gone to college. If you didn't have a plan going to college you deserve to get financially raped.
>>542820970What was your degree in?

>>542820944I agree with your post I never have felt we should have this many people going to college, I don’t think the juice is worth the squeeze for a variety of practical reasons and downstream effects with new problems it causes with society.I also don’t think highschool or anything before that really does an adequate job preparing people for the real world even slightly. And basically together the two in their current forms seem like they are maliciously inefficient on purpose and a way to just suck up people’s time and resources when they’re young.School should do a much better job of preparing people for the real world. and we never should have gotten to the point where the average diploma was worth so little. And on top of all of that idk Whats going to happen at this point eith all of the people coming here with foreign diplomas from colleges that may or may not be diploma mills further diminishing the worth of a degree here.throw ai into the mix and I really don’t know what the fuck things will be like for college educated people a decade from now.
>>542821056You expect to make 90k in a year writing code at your first position out of college?
>>542821174I've already gotten a job offer?
>>542821192So youve got a job writing code for 90k as your first job out of college?
>>542821281Yes, that's about normal for entry level tech jobs. I know people making high 100s man
>>542821324>90k entry-level coding that AI or h1bs can doYou must truly be an artist. Best of luck at your new gig bro
>>542821445Thank you, guy that's never used AI or interacted with Indians
>>542821499I use AI to code all the time. Just be glad that whoever hired you is a sap with money
>>542821558I'm sure you enjoy your hobby
>>542821593What kind of code will you be writing?

>>542820677What motivated you to burn your parents' money on loans they didn't take out?
>>542820677I just think people who work think too highly of themselves. They should actually pay a bit more. They are far too arrogant, life being a bit harder would make them develop more strengths. The people on top are already peak, the problem is with them. These ones that think they should be on top just for trying. That is not the way the world must be, they should toil, maybe if they learn to be better servants they might actually be worth something some day, or at least their children. It should be travail for them to have them, that way it is actually worth something. These loans are nowhere near the cost to make that happen. Give them something to actually be worth whining about for once and all that sniveling will be strangled shut. So annoying no one owes you, brokie. Shush, go work.
>>542821738Not a bad idea for my next hobby project. Really I just want to see if AI can do the job of 4chan retards. I bet it can. Theres no way it can't. Id just need a different agent troubleshooting it but I digress
>>542822028Why don't you get an AI agent to decode sarcasm next time?
>>542820677>my parents paid part of it>I got a job immediately out of school >it paid wellOk well, you're like, 5 percent of people or less, I understand that you do not sympathize with the other 95 percent. Based even. Anyway, enjoy wage cucking for zog. See you on the other side.
>>542822114I think you're confusing sarcasm with autism. Which post was sarcastic?
>>542822156>you're like 5% of people or lessBecause 95% of people are retards with no planAlso if your parents can't afford it you'll be able to get scholarships
>>542822156Because they're human unwanted trash that need to prove themselves and learn to shut up, it's not that deep. If they make it good. Good boy. If not well the graveyard claims another that no one ever asked for. This is a teaching moment every single time.
Bro I'm paying my way through college and I feel bad for people with student loan debt. >get told all your life that you MUST go to college or you'll basically be disowned and live a terrible wagie life>get pulled into preditory loans for a useless degree because it's fundamentally unfair to force someone coming straight out of high school to choose what they'll do for the rest of their lives>even if you get a good degree, the job market is in the toilet and ai is going to or already has replaced all the jobs in your field>end up a wagie anyways but with a mountain of debt that is nearly impossible to climb out ofI mean seriously our generation got sold a complete lie and were sold out by our elders. I can specifically remember thinking in elementary school that it was kinda bullshit that no adult in my life gave me any alternitives to college.
>>542820881>University is too expensive>Healthcare is too expensive>There has to be a better system! There is anon. There is.
>>542822236Brother glad it worked out for you but you just look retarded to anyone in CS if you’re trying to claim all you need is a firm plan through college to guarantee a job out of it right now.
