I don't really understand why they shut down to begin with. It was the most comfy place to get vidya.
They still exist in Japan to some extent, when I visited a couple years ago, it was surreal to walk through one again even if it didn't have any electronics. Hopefully we will do electronics again but if not, at least have vidya merch.
