I think Deroptyus accipitrinus × Pionites melanocephalus could be sapient due to combined traits but also hybrid vigor.

>>542828812I was going to call you a faggot but you look like you exude a +10 happiness aura to others around you
>>542827907Will they actually mate?
>>542828859Thank you friend! >>542828895A good question, perhaps...
>>542828916I have never actually met a Pelican, I see they occasionally eat Pigeons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phUs2kIGY9M
>>542829245There's no pelicans in the British isles?
>>542829303Not natively since the Dalmatian Pelican became extinct in Britain in medieval times.
>>542827907African greys could definitely be bred into being able to speak English fluently
>>542829930For me it's not about the ability to speak since although a complex behaviour in birds. It doesn't account for the entire intelligence of Parrots, for instance Pionites melanocephalus is extremely good at solving puzzles but prefers not to speak, Deroptyus accipitrinus is very perceptive of emotion and territories, I think this combo might be the ingredients for sapience.
>>542830347I get confused on what the term sapience means opposed to self aware, qualia or all those other terms
>>542830520Sapience can be summed up by both self-awareness and the ability to master the environment beyond bodily limitations, like tool-use and planning skills.
>>542830620All those things seem to get treated like they're a yes/no question and not a more/less question.Something highly intelligent may not use tools purely because its adapted so well it just had no use to pick up a stick and do something, and may not need to bother with overt planning when its food is right in front of it
>>542830719Pionites melanocephalus has a unusual often overlooked adaptation, a white breast which it often stains with berry juice and clay for cosmetic purposes, like a white canvas, this speaks to an advanced theory of mind and physical adaptations to complement especially considering there's Humans which look absolutely terrible in what they wear or are going to dangerous lengths to appease egos.
This is now a top g thread
>>542832474I'm really not sure what to make of him. Not sure if Andrew Tate is up to no good or the socialists in government are falsely accusing him due to his political takes.
