Lots of decent jobs have been outsourced over the last 20-30 years. We are now importing insane numbers of foreigners to do regular office work. Which are obviously desirable professional jobs. It's getting bad out there. The reality is that h1b and student visas need to be seriously reformed. But big companies love foreign workers and h1b because they're essentially 2nd class citizens and they have to keep the job so they take less pay and work longer hours and can't easily change jobs. That's not really what h1b was supposed to be for but here we are.
