It's all fake.Diesel is a gasoline byproduct that they used to just throw away until they figured out how to build an engine that runs on it. They could literally give it away for free, so there's no reason it should ever be MORE expensive than gasoline other then artificial inflation due to knowing semi trucks use it and they can make the companies pay. The fact that it's double the price of gasoline at the moment is obviously price gouging. They're doing it on purpose to drive farmers out of business so Gates and Zuckerberg can buy up all the farmland. If they can't afford gas, they can't run tractors, so they can't grow food, so they go out of business, and then we're completely dependent on foreign nations who will make us take infinite immigrants. It's all a scam. Stop sending money to the whore of Babylon and give it to the farmers instead. Trump just sent 20 billion to bail out Argentina's farmers, what about ours?
>>542836807That's great, now shut the fuck up and vote Republican, slave.

>>542836807>Diesel is a gasoline byproduct that they used to just throw away until they figured out how to build an engine that runs on it.what nigger-tier college did you go to, OP? The "Otto cycle" has been used in engines since 1876. Spark-plug type engines (which originally ran on vaporized "coal gas") were only invented 12 years earlier, in 1864. Actual gasoline engines didn't show up until 1884.
>>542837291So it seems
>>542836807>they figured out how to build an engine that runs on itSAY HIS NAME>SAY HIS NAME
>>542836807>Dieselya, it used to be cheap ~25 years ago. There were even people doing engine swaps for the fuel cost savings.>price gougingit is 100% this. look at fuel prices at a truck stop vs a normal gas station a block away. It is always significantly higher at a truck stop even though they should be bank rolling on volume sales with lower margins but decide to fuck the country by charging so much more to the guys that move the country
>>542836807 (OP)Oh, I >>542837657 (You) should probably mention, since you're probably too ignorant to know it, that the "Otto cycle" is what diesel engines use.To recap:* 1864 - first engines fueled by "coal gas"* 1876 - first diesel engine* 1888 - first gasoline engine

>>542837657>>542837803> Rudolf Diesel invented his compression-ignition engine in 1893, but it was initially too heavy and large for early passenger cars. It was widely adopted for ships, submarines, and locomotives first. Passenger diesel automobiles did not begin appearing on the market in small numbers until the 1930s (with pioneers like Mercedes-Benz and Citroën offering early diesel passenger cars. You're doing that diversion tactic where you say what I say but show it happened early than one would assume to distract people with the new information. It doesn't matter when they came out, it's still true that they originally didn't have a use for it then intended diesel automobiles and diesel has always been cheaper because it's essentially the left overs after crude oil is refined into gasoline. There's no reason for it to ever be more expensive than gas other than artificial price gouging.
>>542836807 (OP)>unsolicited, drive-by meltyDiesel- massive pulling force at low speeds- burn fuel more efficiently- and last much longer under heavy workloads than gasolineAmerica doesn't produce much Diesel - only light fuels - kerosine-to-gasoline.Shale oil is almost exclusively light oil.
>>542838115just take a step back and just think about your logic:>at one point it didn't have a use; it was at one point a useless by-product>therefore at THIS point in time, there's no justification for charging more for it>because there WAS a time when it had no use, so it had no value>that MUST mean it's valueless now, even though there's now demand for it, because it was valueless then, back when there wasn't a demand for itplease engage your brain
>>542836807For starters you're pretty retarded. When crude oil is processed it's essentially evaporated and distilled. Think of a giant tube of steam. However this proverbial "steam" has layers. Diesel being one layer and gasoline being another. It being a by product is brainlet take. Diesel is superior in efficiency. Trains , ships, commercial trucks, agricultural and mining equipment all run off of Diesel for a reason. Currently I get 40mpg doing mostly city/ suburb driving. With my local fuel prices Id need a more efficient diesel or schill out tons of money for a hybrid to "save money".If you faggot niggers got your way and made everything Gasoline...well do I need to explain supply & demand too you?

>>542836807Do not panic buy MAGA bros. Thats what a China want you to do. Let Tyrone Jr and Mr Goldberg buy their gas. Thats a little bit of suffering for you but thats compensated by Tyrone and Goldbergs happyness.
>>542836807I warned you fucks about you running out of gas, it is entirely your fault for not being prepared.
I have had 3 people offering to buy my prius due to fuel being almost 11 usd a gallon
>>542838651Demand doesn't make something more expensive in and of itself, it just tells people they can get away with charging more. The truth will stands that there's no reason for it to be more expensive than gas. When you sit there saying: "Oh, all this happened now gas is $8 a gallon!" but gasoline is only $4 a gallon then that's nonsense. If they can afford to charge $4 a gallon for gas then they can easily afford to charge $2 or $3 a gallon for diesel.>>542838285> (OP) # (OP)Is this a bot? I feel like it's programming is adding the second OP in because it's coded in a subpar fashion
>>542838825Crude oil is different than diesel
>>542841912it's really pretty simple anon. demand is high and supply is low. therefore price go up. no amount of "logical" reasoning about how it should be $3 cauase gas is $4 is gonna change basic economics
>>542842436The "law" of supply and demand is a theory that's never been proven. But we're getting off topic. Regardless of supply the price is artificial. Even if the supply increased they wouldn't lower the price now that they've gotten people to pay it. The only way to force them to lower it is to refuse to buy it

>>542836807So? Now they DO have a use for it and so there's a need and demand for it. Why the fuck would it being a by product matter? That doesn't mean there's an infinite supply of it.
