the fact that people are still umming and ahhing about net zero without realising that the intellectual discourse is being sabotaged by big oil
if we're still unsure whether to not build new oil extraction facilities, then we have no hope of doing all the other more extreme interventions that needs to be done to prevent climate change from getting even worse. We're stuck on energy, and aren't even considering industrial sources of carbon.

The only thing that gives me hope in this regard is that thunderfoot aerosol idea. But I suppose reducing agricultural productivity by 1% is also disasterous
