In Northern Italy after WW2 a local priest built more than 500 houses for low, single income families, primarily industry line workers
They were specifically designed to offer at least 3 rooms, a kitchen, a living room and a garden, with churches, pharmacies, kindergartens and elementary schools nearby
Now these houses cost north of 250k
You need at least two robust salaries to buy one
Can't have shit

Ready for round 3?

After his death in the 70s the local government hijacked his association and built more houses, these were smaller, less private and more like a beehive, while still using his name, needless to say they kept making them smaller and more like apartments as the years went on
These are more affordable, only around 200k(average salary in Brescia is 1600 euros)
The man explicitly stated that humans aren't made to live in condominiums and need their space to fully develop and be happy but nobody listened

Luckily our gracious overlords kept the project alive and created more affordable homes for the working class in the 90s
No privacy, no green, only crime, hate and misery
Like living in Baltimore or Moscow
These apartments go for around 150k nowadays

Wait, you didn't know? There's a lot of them, we call them "case popolari" (public housing blocks).

Americans legitimately think Italians live in colonized-shaped houses...

Wait until he sees what Athens looks like. Kek

thats what happens with overpopulation,
italy 100yrs ago: ~40million
italy today: ~60million
The landmass is same like 100 years ago, if you want to house 60million in houses with gardens, you would destroy the rest of the remaining nature.
The whole world needs 1child policy so global population shrinks under 1 billion, preferably global population should be around 200-300 million.

His name was Ottorino Marcolini, born in 1897 in a poor family of strong catholic belief and work ethic.
Firm believer in "Catholic Socialism", believed that a healthy society is based on family and work, therefore would be considered culturally conservative and economically socialist nowadays.

We only have 6 million people more today than in 1970, and in 10 years the population is projected to shrink to those levels
It's not overpopulation, it's greed, bad politics, it's human sin and American culture

Actually it's 13 years of constant saving, not spending a single cent every month for the average salary

In the roman empire, only 7-14 million people lived in italy, but still there was large scale deforestation going on and destruction of nature and they had to import wood from blackforest region in todays germany.
People must understand, we are way way way overcapacity but since the 1800's or so when industrialization happened world pop became absurdly high

You have to pay rent during that time and rent is higher than taking a credit and pay it back how fucking ironic
