Anyone else notice how Equality has been replace with Equity these days? What's their endgame?
equity is a good goal once equality has been established
They don't want to pivot to something new and restructure because that calls in uncomfortable reassignment suggestions. They also don't want to admit they created a world they don't really wanna live in, collectively. So here we are.

Now they say "yeah we know everyone isnt equal but we're trying to bridge the gap between reality and an ideal situation."Only its not taking very well because people dont generally like the implication that we should replace reality with our own ideas. Progressives have long held this particular virtue but it isnt palatable to the average person and they know it.Its even worse for them to keep pretending like equality is a thing at all though. I think having the Karmelo Anthony case and the Lindsey Clansy case back to back and prominent in the public discourse has pretty much killed the idea of equality forever.
