Can someone explain to me why the not burning and not affected 3/4 lower portion of the towers would collapse from the weight of the top part being cut off from the support structure? Like, it's not like the upper few floors were required for the base of the building to survive right? That makes no sense. The upper part needed the support structure below it to not come down. But why didn't it shear off and break apart as we see in the picture here >>542856645 without collapsing the base? The base didn't melt its steel. So the only explanation could be the weight of the top section over stressing the base structure but the fucking top floors were pushing their weight onto the base to begin with. So how the fuck can the entire building pancake from the top section breaking apart? Like if you knock the top off a house of cards does the entire thing collapse? No.
