Women were Jesus' true god, not the heavenly father. Mary nagged Jesus into performing a miracle and he caved in when a wiser man would have had the spine to tell her no in spite of her being his mother. Not saying Jews were in the right to have him crucified, but they were right to suspect something was spiritually wrong with him and his dealings with women are evidence that may be the case. He gave women the same benefit of the doubt that women today exploit to behave as stupidly and destructively as they want.
