Which makes Yahoo's revenue go up, which convinces VC's there must be something to this internet thing, and they fund more startups that then buy more Yahoo ads.I think there are genuinely signs of something interesting with these LLMs. But they're not quite there yet. Without getting too technical you can think of it as like early internet tech. It's just going to take a while before the deflationary effect of innovation/engineering gets them smarter and cheaper to the point where they can be more useful. It may require at least another 5-10 years for another major set of breakthroughs. Also consider the people aspect too. It took time to build out the infrastructure for e-commerce and for people to just trust the likes of Amazon. A similar thing has to happen for "AI".Jews burning through money literally isn't anyone's problem. Nobody made them do that.

AI is just barely good enough to replace a lot of low level white collar workers, since it excels at repetitive and/or tedious work. But it comes at the expense of overworking all the mid-tier white collar workers, who now in addition to their regular workload, have to tard wrangle AIs who have no capacity to recognize mistakes in their own work, or problems their work causes outside their provided context. Then you have the other, longer-term problem that all the myopic bean counters try to distract the public from. AI fucks up the pipeline that turns entry level workers into mid-level workers, and eventually experienced senior staff. This is because AI, right now, mostly only replaces the kind of jobs that somebody new in their industry will get assigned, which means there are no new people learning the ropes, cutting their teeth, and gaining experience to eventually become a mid-level or high-level worker. If you're wondering why this isn't seen as a major issue, it's cause the C-suite is either planning to cash out before it's a problem, or they drank Sam Altman's Kool-aid and believe they can replace everybody outside the boardroom with an AI in the next 10 years. As long as "AI" is nothing but fancy auto-complete, that's a pie-in-the-sky proposition.
