My job is basically to keep it clean and clear jams.>once in a while have to fill in a few spots it missed by TIG welding some aluminum into it.>most of my shift is just using the hardened steel to make swords and pocket knives or welding sculptures and figurines>sometimes an engineer comes down from the office and says "can you weld this" and I say ok and he says "wow, this is amazing. surely this will work" and it doesn't work because it's just as retarded as the sculptures I make>years go by>get an offer from a company nearby that makes MRI machines>asks me to weld sensors for them, say ok>weld a bunch of sensors>weld even more sensors>they start asking me to work 7 days a week>say no>get fired>get new job at a small shop run by an old man who does a lot of cocaine>it's a passivation shop>the job is to put gun springs into buckets with holes in them, put the buckets into a tub of nitric acid solution, wait 30 minutes, rinse and repeat>easiest job I ever had>basically a Steam idle game>pays better than welding>half the time I don't even know what's going on.
