There's 2 things happening right now1) Putin is pissed about the Ukrainian strikes on Russia's production facilities deep inside Russia. He says Ukraine's facilities are located in Nato countries like Britain and Poland, and so he cannot equivocate the strikes. He's trying to cope by bombing Kiev extra hard. But he's starting to lose patience and push the idea of a war with Europe. Remember it was Europe who interfered with Trumo's peace deal, they are the ones really sustaining the war.2) Trump has distaste for Europe and is putting the squeeze on them politically. Cutting off their oil and gas, threatening to withdraw from Nato. Giving Russia leeway to advance and pressure Europe. I assume this is in part because the EU refuses to help with Iran, but in general they are very left wing and gay. He wants to smack them down like he does on the apprentice when someone shows weakness.It's lookiny increasingly like the US is greenlighting Russia and telling Europe they're on their own.
