It needs a completely new name. Old-school industrial capitalism in the 1800s and 1900s, for all its many many flaws (poor working conditions), nonetheless still was centered around PHYSICALLY BUILDING STUFF. You were rich because you owned a textile mill, you controlled steel and oil, you built railroads. A Rockefeller or a Carnegie makes physical stuff people can see, touch and have immediate use for.Capitalism and socialism are both productivist. They disagree on who should own the means of production (private vs. social/collective), but they more or less agree on what whoever owns them should do with them and, crucially, that the means of production should be used to PRODUCE at all.The modern world is an entirely different social system. It is governance and economics determined solely by AI slop which kills polar bears as coomer normies use the AI to make pornography for their coom sessions. Socially awkward billionaires who are only such because of daddy's money and who have no administrative or social skills possess more sway over global economics than the sovereign heads of nation-states. They do not produce anything - they sound like aliens talking about 'balancing synergies' and 'algorithmic training' and trying miserably to imitate a human with HR-corporate buzzwords. They could not sum up in one sentence what they do and how they make money.The truth is that you can only move numbers between computers and subsist off abstract speculation for so long. At the end of the day, the basic needs of economics at its raw core have not changed much since 100 years ago - you will soon find out you can not eat data or make a necklace out of software.This is political.Expand on this.
