>>543131770Personally I'd love to own several cars and one day I'll build a ghetto camper van for sure.The reason we generally don't understand it is because proper maintenance is basically mandatory over here.There are (bi)yearly checks if your car is roadworthy.And that means no error indications related to engine, exhaust or safety.Too much rust on suspension or chassis? you're donezo.Even stuff like tires that are too old will get you in trouble.So owning like 5 cars would basically ensure that there is like 2 or 3 4-figure repairs needed every year. And that is if you still can get the parts at all (ECUs for 20+ y/o beaters...) And don't get me started on the costs of the (mandatory) insurance...
