>>543130742I think WWII will kick off for real next year and be even deadlier than WWII. China and India will sustain the highest casualties. Europe and Russia will become so hollowed out losing what declining populations they have that they'll be left wide open to straight-up invasion by Africans. The US will spend the last of it's hegemony ensuring that Russia and the chinks are to badly damaged to win any meaningful territory, after which they'll withdraw into decades of isolationism to lick their wounds and recover their strength. South America will come through relatively unscathed along with Africa. In the Pacific including Australia we'll see some fierce fighting and bombing. It's possible though unlikely that the chinks will land on our shores at some point. It'll wrap up sometime in the early 2030s. We'll spend the rest of the decade trying to sort out our social issues and rebuild our economies. There will either be a socialist revolution by the woke who'll overthrow their war-weakened governments or a massive surge in nationalism that sees us go pretty far in the other direction, not Nazi Germany level but maybe fascist Italy with strong flavourings of ethnocentrism and patriarchal dominance. All in all, it'll be a really shit decade starting out and by the end will be paradise for some and hell for others. Such is life I spose.
