"A" and "the" are gay.Slavic languages don't have them and they are manly (except Eastern South Slavic languages which are türkified and therefore gay). If you need to say "some mushroom" - you say it. if you need to say "that mushroom" - you say it. But saying it all the time is extremely gay.
