I think a lot of podcasters realized that they can be shot in public for their views. So I think there's at least some self-interest there in covering it. In the same way a journalist is killed, that's a story that's important to a journalist even if you or others don't care.The only thing I'll add is that the killing of Kirk was unamerican.
