It took Claude a single day to replicate 80% of the work that took a top 1% human intelligence wise, 20 years to make.

Yeah, some humans are fucked.
I've seen LLM peddlers going like "Hey look at this prototype that I vibed in an hour" and then be like "My LLM cannot fix a bug and neither can I since I didn't even look at the code and have no idea what's going on".
Getting the first 80% of a project done quickly is nice. Not so nice that you don't learn anything in the process, and you have to deal with the second 80% of that project at some point relying on your own brain.

Nothing jewish about it, just a nature of an intellectual craft aiming to create something novel (even if most software projects are boring CRUDs they still are novel in a sense that they solve a business-specific problem not solved before) is that you are not just building but also discovering requirements in the process.
The more you build, the more edge cases you learn about, the yet more to build you have.
Work generates work.

AI is only good at "manual labour" of coding, like CRUD systems, where you DON'T need much personalization or specialization or edge cases.
Anything interesting or novel, and it starts shitting the bed.

Anything that is truly impressive that's "made by AI", I can assure you, a human used a lot of their own effort and thinking on it, and are likely an expert on their field to begin with. Because without expertise the AI will just spit out the same generic garbage ad nauseum

My main setup is GPU0 - qwen3.8 with 750k and then another agent wtih 250k, then on the other gpu 4 agents with 250k each. Nominally.

I get bursts up to 500 tokens/sec with unlimited context running on deepseek harness.

We figured out a way for it to browse the web without api keys. We use bezier curves, jitter, and hardware spoofing. When I say we, the AI figured this out for me. I'm in all my account, sending emails, and it's all inside my docker container behind a firewall.

mostly work stuff, writing documents, researching massive engineering standards (like over thousand pages of technical pdfs).

I made a music video with it. I have open source versions of suno and image generating (comfyUI). It tried to use whisper.cpp to time the lyric captions, but it wasn't accurate. So the only tedious part I did was a timestamp on lyrics caption. Then the AI used ffmpeg to generate the music video. It's actually really good.

I created a roblox prototype game with it.

There's too much to create with it is the problem. And all my time is constantly upgrading this system and implementing parts that I plan. I get distracted playing with it when I have plans to tune the GPUs and system better or add on a new fundamental feature that makes the whole system easier to work with.

I pumped the cost of a new car into this. I have dual rtx pro 5000, but I'm not openly posting the secret I found on those even though my funds are exhausted to get more.

I have a NAS server, two gaming PCs with actually useful GPUs for small AI, and this dual rtx setup all clustered and serving my harness to me on the internet over VPN.

My recommendation is get a DGX spark variant like the MSI variant. They have 128 GB unified memory that lets you run the models that you want smart enough to handle your harness and projects without constant mistakes and babysitting.

if you have ~32-96GB, you won't run a system like mine, but you still will have a powerful local agent system.
>>
>>543197426
And what the fuck I'm looking at?
What a 2D game worst that something made by 13 years old with RPG maker has to do with the alleged top 1% of humanity? And is demise?
>>
>>543199541
Think like 1/10th that cost. I used rtx pro 5000s.

I spent just as much on infrastructure: networking upgrades, back up UPS modules, hard drives etc. But now I have a totally local, autonomous AI system inside my bedroom.

There is still a place for cloud AI. I call it "sipping" or phone a friend. You are stuck on a problem with your local AI? Allow it to ask scrubbed questions to the cloud AI and it gets over it's hump locally. The cloud AI has minimal context or references to know much about you or what you're doing. And doing it this way is much more economical with all the benefits without the sacrifice of privacy or intelligence quality.
>>
>>543199563
have used dgx sparks for work and they are decent for running larger models but the low memory bandwidth is wank. a bit jealous of your setup. may have to just purchase on demand cloud gpu like a peasant instead of ruining my bank account

>>543199328
So basically you spend so much money, time and energy on a system that shits out crap every minute without creating anything of value and then you claim how much "you" do and how productive "you" are. In the meantime you have no idea what exactly the outputs are, you learn nothing and you just create busy works for yourself with setting up bots, that will never returns anything meaningful. You tinker on a machine that just gives you random values. Essentially you are not better than a gambler hopping for the next big win ... But you will never win, because you just steal and distil other people's work into a crude mimicry of human creativity.
>>
>>543199814
Broh I don't even like AI. I'm an engineer so I justify buying this like a blacksmith justifies buying a new anvil. I have to have this to be competitive and to get out from under the thumb of the man, to be independent.

And it's not exactly like we have a choice. If we can have local AI it resists what is coming for all of us. And if you wait, the RAM and GPUs just keep getting bought by others who aren't willing to wait.

So far my gamble has paid off: the models and software techniques keep improving and upgrading while running on the same hardware.

Eventually my system as it is today will be obsolete. However it will make the future upgrades cheaper and not take half a year to get off the ground.

Yeah I am agreeing with you . I was at. Nvidia build a claw in Tokyo and even though it was a shit tier event with too many people and not much learning I saw a DGC spark and the agent was running like the latest 32B qwen variant that was hot a month ago and it was pretty good. My company is buying some to replace the millions they spend on tokens but it's a capex vs opex expense so not sure. Anything less than 128gb unified you are just playing games and you near much more to actually trian a model. But to use an open model I agree with you. I need a gpu so I train models but I would get a dgx spark otherwise but my company treats the DGX spark differently than like a GPU laptop . I prefer using the API for the frontier model but I don't think the frontier model is any better because constantly losing context, not doing a very thorough job of understanding my project etc.

>>
>>543199974
>>543199800

DGX spark is the best bang for the buck. Running locally, you just have to accept it's goign to be an order of magnitude or two slower than the cloud models.

If I could afford another spending spree I'd get 4 or 8 of the sparks. Or some mac studios. And then cluster them on a 400gbps network switch.

The problem with the spark vs. my dual gpu setup is they don't have the processing power of a GPU. So they are intelligent, will do what you need. Just be prepared to wait. And treat it like a oven you let it bake while you do other things.

>Anything that is truly impressive that's "made by AI", I can assure you, a human used a lot of their own effort and thinking on it,
Facts. AI is only as good as its user. I've created a lot of programs and videos with AI but I have to put just as much work into it as the AI outputs. It's more like having a small team on-hand for a project, but it allows you do develop things that would normally be way out of scope regarding time, budget, and equipment.
>and are likely an expert on their field to begin with.
Enh, I'd say I'm good regarding things like video editing but it's more about being good at prompting and steering the AI accurately than expertise. I'm at best an amateur programmer, but because I know the fundamentals AI picks up the gap and teaches me along the ast.
>Because without expertise the AI will just spit out the same generic garbage ad nauseum
Again: AI is only as good as its user, and most of its users are fucking retarded. Which tracks since most people are fucking retarded.

This week? My mom has been asking me to fix her libre office doc that is a contract she uses for renting out a vacation house for years. It's a pain in the ass she has to edit it every time to make a new contract and it has all kinds of fucked up formatting because it was converted into an ODG from some sample contract years ago.

I just gave it to my AI and asked it to make a new version, convert it to ODT, then beyond that, just make fillable forms for her on a pdf instead of having to use libre office.

This morning it has the final pdfs. It embedded javascript in them to save two copies, one she can open back up and change, and then a permanent unchangeable copy she can use with the customer.

It's the perfect conversion now. A professional fillable form that generates historical copies automatically for later editing and re-use.

I didn't do any programming, any document editing. I asked it to send her the files on my gmail account, include a cheerful greeting, and also attach to auto-generated videos of her dog in cartoon form as a friendly email.

>>
>>543200998
It does take this long locally. Especially as it's not even a complete system, I am like maybe 40% to 60% in building it up. For this task, I ran into the issue that my local model assumed the wrong syntax for the embedded javascript and generated 11 versions with that mistake until I said fuck it you're supposed to "take a sip of chatgpt" to get over this shit. So it logged into my chatgpt on its headless browser and asked all these crazy messages. It somehow input multiple inputs without chatgpt responding, and then finally it shit out a huge answer for my local AI to use. It came back and got over this syntax hurdle.

It also takes this long because like I said, I am not sitting at my computer doing this. I am driving in my pick up truck on my phone and log into the harness and ask it to do things. And I need to review the outputs afterwards, and I'm doing a bunch of other shit, so it drags out.
>>
>>543197426
>replicate
>>
>>543197426
From a amateur view, this looks impressive. But a human can recreate this in no time as well. The big archivements back then was the environment and solutions, which had to be created from 0. Even displaying a moving blue circle with the limited computing power was a challenge, which required much throughout to not break after running for 3 minutes. I personally think we can expect great things in the upcoming future, but it's the combined effort of human and Ai which brings the great.
>>
>>543201137
One more recent crazy story. It asked me to put my phone into developer mode. Then it logged into my phone over wifi. I watched it open my text messages (i asked it to scrape all my texts and put them on my NAS server). I literally watched it learning how to scroll on my phone screen. It was trying to pull the messages in the wrong direction multiple times while I watch it in the harness thinking how to navigate.

Then the next test. It logged into my spare phone, turned on the microphone, then called my other phone and recorded the call.

It also scraped my phone for all its call logs like a forensic analysis can do.

Broh this wasn't a simple document task. I poisoned it early on with some stupid shit I asked. And then like I said, it was a fragmented string mess of text boxes aligned up to look like sentences. Like halves of a word split into letters in different text boxes. And then I poisoned it trying to get it to do everything from libre office pipeline and handcuffed it. I told you this system is only 40% it doesn't have all the tricks to make it efficient and smart yet.

Also I feel bad for you. That's fucking shit to run vulkan on ollama or whatever. I'm using vllm and I can shard across 144 gb. I have a 24GB and 16GB radeon cards on rocm in windows WSL environments on my gaming GPUs and those are on VLLM servers wired into the harness also.

I don't see a problem with that. Programming (and digital sphere as such) is a very recent trades off-shoot. It's only expected that it will get improved upon.
Or did you think we just started programming 50 years ago and that was that? We figured it out entirely?

I haven't played DF and didn't buy it because he supported BLM and brought in tranny dorfs but I'll defend the game itself because it's basically one of those Rogue or Angband style of ASCII games turned into a strategy game like The Settlers or Dungeon Keeper and set in a generated world. It was really novel back in the day before everybody was a making a "roguelike" starting a decade ago.

Thanks for the lore. I've been around since Sid Meier's Civilization was played on DOS in 1991. I'm serious, my friend and I after school in the 7th grade would play this in 1991 and all the other titles at the time, Tie Fighter, Wolf3D, etc. So, I am honestly attempting to understand the people in this thread. Either I'm the retarded one, or hundreds of thousands of people know something I don't know. I need to get to the bottom of this because it's actually freaking me out how the basic bitch fucking game is considered the "top 1% of human genius" in the history of the world; to the point it is a benchmark to compare AI in 2026 against. I've been around way before Steam was even a thing for people. Infact I have never cared about Steam and to this day don't have an account. Not that I have anything against it, no... I just never viewed what was so special about it. Okay, it's a marketplace. Big deal... We were on BBS and then MSN Zone a decade before Steam was a thing. It's like there's an entire group of people that branched off into an alternative timeline and all the sudden this alternate group is not crash head-to-head with the timeline I was living in. Really weird... I was starting to think this is some psyop to attack Western AI, like how the Climate Change psyop was used to "deindustrialize the west" to keep it behind the competition in the world market. But yeah, I will check more into the game to see what you are talking about. Of course, it makes sense the dev is a tranny cock sucker; because the fanbase is giving me that vibe in the thread here.

The funniest thing is that AI retards always bring up calculators and manual counting as the progress analogy, but calculators don't consist of little gnome mathematicians doing manual counting inside of it, it's an electrical circuit and people haven't been counting shifting electrons around in a board before calculators.

Game is basically a world simulation.
It's an ascii kinda roguelike, but it simulates an entire world history, culture, mythology, lore, and makes you the owner of a colony of dwarves, which have emotions and can become insane.

Also, the game makes npcs remember shit, or get mental illnesses and then decide to start a cult with other npcs.

It's basically simulating the matrix, in a small scale.

not to mention the 90/10 rule in gamedev: 90% of production is done in 10% of development time, polishing and debugging is a bitch, if customers can't even start their games anymore vibe coooders will become unemployed bums real fast
t. indie dev and software architect and I'm not worried at all, LLMs are a good tool to research new implementations and design patterns though

This game Dwarf Fortress (made by a tranny game dev on steam in 2006; a decade and a half after Sid Meier's Civilization) does not "simulate the entire universe". As a game dev... simulating emotions in an RTS / RPG is not that special or rare. I know it "sounds" like it really crazy advanced stuff, but that just marketing. Leftist retards always fall for the marketing so that explains why the leftist retards ITT are claiming Dwarf Fortress is some sort of benchmark within their retarded Leftist version of the worlds timeline. I have emotion systems that can been integrated into any game. A lot of game dev is just renaming systems in different ways.

"Emotional systems" should be purged. It's just a loss for us and it's in place because of jews, just like trannyism. Replacing genuine emotional content with sorry artificial, gamified slop hurts us, aiding only israel.

It's just a stupid way to use AI. The same number of people working alongside a bunch of LLMs is necessarily better than a small amount of people wrangling a huge amount of LLMs. The problem is that everything that goes into production needs to be reviewed by a human. What you end up with when you fire all your juniors and most of your seniors is that every human now has to become both an engineer and a reviewer... and they likely have to review exponentially more code than they had to.
>>

so do humans to pass down the experience?

The major problem with ai is not "stealing" ,it is the fact that humanity's progress will plateau.Ai skips the training of new human talent which is needed to pass the torch. No new human advancement = no ai advancement = stuck in limbo
