But yes, the main cast as well as important supporting characters are given much more attention (fidelity, animation, design, etc.) than NPCs as per usual. There's akshually a large variety of NPCs, I would even argue too many as it was probably expensive to do this and I generally don't think the effect is that powerful/important. But on the other hand, some people really don't like template swap NPCs. So that might just be my own personal feeling.
