Kulaks were responsible for the Holdomor.Kulaks were very greedy rich farm owners, they didn't want to give surplus of their products to the Soviet government to be redistributed so they sabotaged their own crops and killed their own cattle out of spite this caused a famine which killed several milion people. Soviet government punished Kulaks for intentionally causing the famine by executing some of them in front of the firing squad while others were sent to gulags for reeducation.
